how do you do 2 zone cooking on a Primo Large Round ?
@chdeleon4 жыл бұрын
Why get the divider if you fill both sides? Can you just get the heat deflector plates without the divider and achieve a good two zone cooking surface?

He only filled the left side with charcoal. The divider holds the coal to one side, which is handy especially if you need to add more coal.

what's wrong with the original firebox?

Granger has Stainless foil that is pricy but a 10' roll should last some time. Food grade compatible.

I used to wrap the deflector plates with foil but I had the experience of the foil melt/stick to the deflector rack. I now make a boat out of foil and place on the deflector plate.

Great idea. I have had some small pieces adhere to the racks, but I just wipe it off.

What size Primo grill is this? I've decided to get a Primo but I'm trying to decide which size to buy. P.S. I never use aluminum in cooking due to the Alzheimer's connection, any other idea for covering those stones? Or just let them cure into a non-stick like my pizza stone?

I love my Primo! I use it at least 3-4 times per week, making everything from pulled pork, ribs, burgers, steak, pizza, mac n cheese, etc. You name it and the Primo can do it. My favorite thing about the Primo is that it is Made in the USA! Check out my blog for more info: backyardbq.wordpress.com
