@JimmerJoMoore Sorry for the loooong wait for this reply, but we know others asked. Depending on how hard it's raining, the flicking or thumping from inside does clear the holes pretty well so you can see. Having said that, while hunting out of a blind in the rain isn't what you generally plan on doing, it happens. And when it does, you'll obviously see as much and more in a SurroundView in the rain than you would with a regular full-cloth blind. Be safe out there!

Love this blind and can say that the flicking is noise and doesn't seem to work too well. I would rather just go back to camp and eat/drink, ya know enjoy the calm!

Can someone explain why turning it inside out doesn't make you invisible

You’re able to see the inside of the tent. flipping it inside out would just look black instead of the camo pattern. But you could then see the camo pattern when sitting inside

The idea is, on a bright sunny day, turn off your lights, and try to look inside the room from outside the window, it should be pitch black and you'll have to cup your hands over your eyes to see in. Try it again at 11pm, and you'll be able to see a lot more, or during the day if you have lights on.

Terribly, you'd fill up the holes causing the very problem you're trying to avoid.

@@chief3796 I believe you and I might be thinking of different kinds of waterproof spray. The kind I'm talking about is thinner than water and it doesn't just protect things from getting wet it repels water away so I don't know why it wouldn't work. Only issue I'll really see is the chemical smell may hang around for a bit on something that big

I used this blind for deer hunting this season kzbin.infoUgkxvlQxmcZQzSQSYbJsEgAGvG2DaduKTV99 and will use it again for turkey this coming April 19'. The only common sense thing I recommend is wear all black to cover your upper body considering the inside of the blind is black and dont open unnecessary windows to silhouette yourself. Other then that, spray some water proof spray on the seams and roof. Dont forget your comfy chair, happy hunting.

I'm not a big fan of the see through walls. Respect to those who do like them. They are just not for me. I'm not thrilled with any blind on the market. Seems to me that they are plowing ahead with all sorts of ideas and leaving the basic stuff behind like replaceable mesh windows.

To aid in concealment, I put some cloth camo tape over the black windows in my Surround 270 to conceal them when they’re up.

This is the only reason I didn't consider one.. I've done most of my turkey hunting in the rain and if I've got to constantly knock rain off the side to see if doesn't really justify it for me. Neat concept but it has it's drawbacks.
