Same. In Year 10 we had a guy in training teaching us Chem and everyone in my class thought he was God awful. Didn't know how to engage us and no one really understood half of what he said, even the smarter students. I know he was only training, but he probably would have been better off with the younger years and not trying to teach the 10s/11s. And our normal teacher (she was in the room when he was teaching) said he was fine and refused to go over what we didn't understand, despite the fact that we had to ask him to clarify most things. As a result, we learnt nada from him.

BBC Bitesize and the CGP revision guide say that at 11:30 the activation energy is not the hump but the overall energy required before the fall of energy. So the build from the reactants to the peak = activation energy. Not from the level of products.

Just want to give a headsup to a mistake that she made. I don't mean to criticise I just want to inform everybody: at 20:24 she said that methane has a smell. That is in fact wrong. Mercaptan is in fact added to methane to give it that smell because otherwise people would die from methane without knowing what killed them as methane is odourless and colourless. So yeah just wanted to let u know that the smell (mercaptan) is added to natural gasses :)
