MOST of them actually aren't that hard to sing along with if you got the chops to actually play the bass parts. He always sorta "talks" more than he "sings", and vocal rhythms are always pretty simple. Tommy the Cat is a good example. Which isn't to say it isn't hard, but just a testament to how damn good and savvy Les is.
@illwillpress100
@illwillpress100 3 жыл бұрын
@@lachlanjohnson8019 Just depends really. In tommy the cat for example Les's "talking" is basically straight 16 notes.

when I was younger I tried to sing and play bass, it was so damn hard. I feel like you need to have a certain type of talent to be able to do that shit. my brain couldnt comprehend trying to correlate the notes and vocals at the same time.
@dipu94321
@dipu94321 3 жыл бұрын
@@lachlanjohnson8019 indeed is. Cause with singing, you can kinda flow with the music you are playing. Which is why vocalists can do what they do when playing rhythym guitar. Talking on the other hand.

@@ImNeverOriginal I think the key to doing that is that his riffs are pretty much the same thing over and over. Once it's ingrained in muscle memory you can start to do stuff over the top. The real problem is the first bit.
