@@_flogan_4661 Primus wouldn't be Primus without Ler, though. His guitar just goes so perfectly with Les's style. I couldn't see anyone else filling in for him - not Buckethead or anyone. They've had a couple drummers in their time - I'm honestly not even sure who's who, but both drummers were also very malleable and fit the band as well. Primus wouldn't be Primus with just Les.

Fuzzy Dunlop Totally agree.Ler it always be the best guitarrist that fits Les's style, making those damn awsome bass lines become even more awsome!! Not to mention he does that with his own unique style on guitar and great playing! And drums wise, the same goes for this guy right here, the great Tim Alexander(Herb). They've had 3(great)drummers,if i'm not mistaken, each one with a diferent approach, but imo,Herb is the one who fits the best Ler's guitar and Les's bass.. Man,they really are an amaizing band

+Charlie L (noobsmoke79) And let's not forget Herby on the drums, though it takes a (good) drummer who's listened to him for quite a while to begin to understand fully just how freakin' awesome he is; Tim plays the drums like Les plays the bass and yet, possibly because Primus aint exactly mainstream, he's relatively unknown among the wider drumming community. He's been my fav drummer for ever, and he's Les' favourite drummer as well, go figure. Those two were made for each, musically speaking and, to quote Les, "Musically, we just made incredible things together, stuff that he and I could do together that I just couldn't do with anybody else, haven't been able to do with anyone else, it just doesn't happen." And then there's Ler. I'm no guitarist, but he's my fav - probably because Primus have always been my fav group. But I just like the sounds my ears do hear from Ler's string-a-ling-dinging :D It's the SOUND, you know? Yep.. This trio of bastards certainly do belong together, and with much more regognition. But in a world where mediocrity thrives, I'm not surprised. Everyone know's Bieber, whilst 9/10 folks don't know Primus. Ah well, leave the gold for the smart ones to find I suppose.
