Ive been playing since I was 9. I’m 55 and trust me. He’s got talent, skill, chops, a natural timing, a nice comfortable,relaxed flow that makes it look easy as well as putting the work in to hone these skills. Excellent job and if you keep putting yourself out there you will have no problem playing for a living. Keep the light alive in there because i unfortunately due to medical issues, lost the ability but never the love of playing. And losing either one is the same ending.

I have worked very hard my whole life to not just "play" drums. i wanted feel over everything. its kept me from getting gigs my whole life cause everyone wants flashy because of the internet only fast and flashy gets attention.

thank you a ton. the antipop record was the album that really made me a big fan. yes, i was a fan of pork soda 2 but not like antipop. later in life i became a fan of everything but it really was antipop for me also i think i am the only person who did this song. every video i see EVERYWHERE is john the fisherman or my name is mud

Best Primus groove I’ve watched from auditions. Lots of really good technical drummers that couldn’t find the pocket if you stuck them in it. You nailed it!

Outside of the small mistake at the beginning, this was absolutely fucking brilliant. Recorded well, dynamics are dead on. A lil stiff, but overall the best Primus audition I’ve seen by far. Good luck man, for real, absolutely brilliant.

This is the only audition I've commented on. It sounded great. Do another one so they can see what you like. Image is a lot in a pro band. And make sure you're a humble dude. If you get picked for a live audition, part of it is going to make sure they can get along with you. Seriously, do a second song (or 3rd and 4th) I haven't seen anyone do more than one song. Show 'em you don't just know your favorite tune by them. Break a leg!

I couldn’t tell you(anyone)the first thing about playing the drums. I can however tell you when I see/hear someone do it, though. I like him... but I really never could adapt to him in Primus. He always felt pent up and too stiff to flow in the band. Still... great music in that configuration regardless.
