His conservationist, architectural, and environmental idea where cutting edge back when I heard them in the 90's when I was growing up and one of the few things I admire about him. I actually practiced and learned so many things listening to ideas like this. People thought I was a crazy kid and a bit of a hoarder but I found society to just be wasteful. I remember the bullying and ridicule he was condemned with by society especially the media. They called him a kook who was out of touch and crazy. Just goes to show.🤷🏿‍♀️

@Tyler Miklos Forced to marry her? Buddy, he chose her! He had the option to step down and pursue his dreams with honour and dignity, yet he chose to lie and cheat, to live in sin. He's only king today because his uncle abdicated the throne to marry the woman that he loved, Charles had the option to do the same thing because he had 3 other siblings. Charles made conscious choices, he wasn't in his 20s anymore. He was a 32 years old adult when he married the 19 years old Diana, over 34 years old by the time his sons were born. He wasn't some sort of a teen or freshly out of school young man, he had over 20 public relationships and was 32 years old. It's public knowledge that he proposed to several of his ex-girlfriends and got rejected, he was looking for a wife and the young and impressionable Diana accepted him. Also, Camilla spent OVER 13 YEARS with her first husband before Charles even married Diana. Camilla dated her first husband for 5 years before she married him and spent 8 extra years married to him before Charles proposed and married Diana. Camilla was another man's woman at the beginning, been for over a decade before Charles married. Not to mention that she was the mother of another man's children, their marriage lasted for 22 years. She spent a total of 27 years with her first husband. The Bible specifically says that the adulterers are the lowest of the lowest and that the punishment for it will be severe. God will not save them. Although they need saving from themselves, their lives are a mess, and that's because of their own doing.

@@omi685 Hunny, he was forced to choose someone, and with the "no past" requirements it was always going to be someone much younger. Stepping down was not an option given his uncle's abdication that haunted the family. LOL if you think no prior king "lived in sin." Read up on what past kings got up to. Charles abdicating would have been pointless because Camilla ALREADY MARRIED before he finished his military service. He hadn't asked her to wait for him. She knew the RF wasn't going to approve of her, so despite still being in love with Charles she moved on. I doubt either of them knew at the time they were the right ones for each other. Hindsight is 20/20. Diana wasn't clueless either, she was nobility and familiar with how the RF worked. You also leave out that Camilla's first husband was a serial cheater and known to sleep with all her friends. For all her complaining about Camilla, diana slept with at least three married men. So god wasn't fond of her either I guess.

Enduring the difficulty with grace and good humor living in a "Fish Bowl" environment is not an easy task. I applaud the royal family in how they (try) to manage it all. Congratulations and Best Wishes to King Charles III and Queen Camilla on their Coronation 3 days ago. If we all could "leave this world better than how we found it", it would be a wonderful legacy indeed royalty or not but noble all the same. The ending of his interview had me in tears. Almost subliminally in the words of Laurence Olivier's portrayal of Max DeWinter: "Happiness is something I know nothing about."

It just differentiates a queen married to the ruling monarch vs a queen that rules on her own (Regnant Queen). Had diana (who was a side piece to quite a few men) stayed married and become queen she's have been a queen consort too. Kate will be a queen consort. Sorry to disappoint you.

What a gorgeous gentleman. It feels like these were the days--if the very end of them--when he was still reluctant in public, maybe a little traumatized from all that had gone on in the 90s. I feel like a little after this he began to come out of his shell just a little and loosens up and smiles more. Nannies Butlers Private Chefs for Diana and the children. Housekeepers A Palace to live in! At the beginning of the marriage for the first few years, Charles also gave himself to Diana! But none of the above was enough for her!

Read 2 Samuel in the Bible. King David's family was cursed due to his infidelity & Son. Although King David repented of his sin, he suffered consequences. His son try to dethroned him. If King Charles III truly repented of his infidelity of his first wife, he would have taken care of his second wife quietly and privately, not publicly elevating or celebrating his relationship. I dislike what Harry & Meghan are doing but King Charles reap what he sowed. He betrayed his 2 children too when he betrayed his first wife, especially one of them is heir to the kingdom.
