Prince was a great soul and a Christian of immense faith who loved, trusted and followed Jesus. He used to pray three times a day and loved to sing the Psalms - especially the Psalms praising the Lord were the ones he loved most and that's something I have in common with him; these are my favorite ones I love to sing to read out loud. He is just fine now where he is. Fame, vanity and the things of this world didn't corrupt his faith. He didn't talk about that openly but that's a secret about my dear Prince I had to reveal to his fans. I know he is fine and Jesus didn't forget him. A big hug Prince. We will see each other again.

an incredible cover. i think genius is a word bandied about very casually these days. i think prince was a master of his craft, because he worked hard on it daily for over 30 years. in this cover, when he scrambles from bruised vulnerability to soaring outrage, it is deeply startling and moving. it is one of those live events one wishes one was there for.

TRULY GRATEFUL TO HAVE BEEN THERE FOR THIS!! Best part is that I was not originally going to the show but Prince got added to the line up late and some friends and I decided to sneak in. We ended up behind the vendor booths and one of them told us she would let us through as long as we bought some food from her. $6 later, I have a good meal and one show I hope to never forget.

Prince knew that words create reality which is likely why he would not call himself a creep or weirdo in this brilliant cover. And he ceased to cuss as he got older and realized the impact he had on children. He truly loved God and embraced who he was just like we did.
