Thanx for this Brother!!! Im collecting the tutorials for all my favs that I havent learned or got rusty on over the past 11 years of "no playing." I play by ear but am delving into theory, perfect pitch and chord building/progression. Drums are my passion but keys are what I actually started with!

Brother, that was out of this world Great! Hadn't sang since a severe MC accident w/TBI... Thank you for bringing it home and me with it...S/F George p.s. if you would please sing and play it to the end, I will take your lead and get ready for a first date with a most wonderful woman to whom I will sing it. Thanks again for making my day so very bright 🌞 🎶

I actually met Rosie Gaines back around 1994 in L.A. She had just parted ways with NPG and was pursuing her solo career. We were staying at the same hotel. We hung out in the hotel lobby for about an hour just talking music. Surprising to me, she wrote 'Diamonds & Pearls'. Prince heard it and rearranged it. She admitted his version was the better one. The rest was history. ❤️🔥

This is my first video I’ve ever watched of yours. Not only are you a great teacher but you have a phenomenal voice and great understanding of music. You should really play and sing the entire song at the end of the video after you’re done teaching it. I’m sure there are many people other than myself who would love to see it all put together and hear you sing it.

Thanks for watching. Unfortunately it just doesn’t work for me time wise to do the song all the way through and then teach the song in it’s entirety. The tutorials would just be too long. I’m sorry
@MF-nq9tk2 жыл бұрын
@@karlismusik thx no worries but it gives the viewer the chance to know what you’re going to learn… rather than watching whole video to find you’re not learning what you wanted to. You could always start the video and say “the tutorial starts at 3:04 and here’s what we will learn in todays tutorial” and then teach… :)
