Whoa! 'Jump'! I *never* made the connection. DM is my *favorite* Prince album. I used to play it every morning before leaving for school. Um...high school not elementary school. LOL Never heard 'Lisa'. (Yes. I'm "buggin right now".) My inner DJ wants to mix INXS's 'Suicide Blonde' with it. 'Head'...yasssss! (One of the craziest/funniest threads on KZbin has to be Head - Live.) And 'Sister'...I'd misheard the "blowjob" reference for nearly 35 years! Anyway, Thank you for a funky time, DJ Funktual!

check out tame impala's track "let it happen", the opener for the album "currents". the title track of dirty mind reminded of it in a way. i wonder if there's any influence there.

I'm new to Tame Impala but 'Let it Happen' is my *FAVORITE* track on _Currents_. Been a Prince fan since forever ('78/'79) but I'd never made the connection. However, Muse's 'Supermassive Black Hole' reminds me a little of Prince's 'Love' from the 3121 album. Or, is it the other way around? I think both songs dropped in 2006.
