This great guy Prince Edward is SO nice, SO decent and SO human that it is unbelievable that he is a biological child of elizabeth and phillip! He doesn't look like them, doesn't think like them & certainly doesn't act like them--thank God! I don't know how they got him/from where they got him, but they were too lucky to get him--he is truly a Prince in character, personality & demeanour. Throughout ALL the years, the media touted Prince Andrew as the late Queen Elizabeth’s favourite child. The story never changed, until now. Knowing what accompanies that label, pushing it on Prince Edward won’t do him any favours, in fact it may dent and tarnish his unblemished persona.

Not saying you wrong in what you think, but I from my own perspective, doubt it would affect his image etc, if he had been the late Queen's favourite. He is loved and respected for himself, and people have observed enough about Prince Edward over the years, to see all the good he has done, and that he is in a stable loving marriage with two lovely children. He had never been divorced, no scandal about him messing around with women, and he is not a lime light seeker. Also by the time the queen had him, she had more time to be a mother. Charles and Anne were like 16 and 14 and Andrew going to pre school and then primary school, gave her that extra time with Edward. So it may look like he was her favourite as she was seen doing more with him, but it's just really, she had more time and experience then as a mother. I think Prince Andrew always remained her favourite, untill her dying day. But respect your opinions as people see things in different ways.🙂

I remember when edwardcgot nothing but criticism in the media, for leaving the marines, working for andrew lloyd web and who can forget the criticism he got for filming his nephew william for his tv production. Im glad things have improved for him. Just shows you how really the media and palace cooperate with each other, a point prince harry has recieced dreadful abuse for making.

Edward and Sophie are a class act and should be the king. I don’t think Charles and William just don’t have it. He is much too cruel to his brother . Things should change. I like Harry and Meghan. They are better than the present ones. He’s a nicer person. William never treated him nicely. He’s more of a people person. Shame ion some of the royals behaviour. They drove Diana horribly. We were in London and were told about Charles treatment of Diana. He had a red plane that he left each am. And went to Camilla for the day. Poor Diana knew all that. No wonder she got sick. We were told everything that was going on. It was ridiculous. Now, he’s kissing William. The Queen knew everything and did nothing.
