The whole cast did an excellent job! The ending was truly sad, but doesn't the same thing happen to day in all levels of life? From bullying in families, in schools, in jobs and even with celebrities who are bullied from their fans. When will people allow others to live their own life? When is it any business of one person as to what another does? Hopefully people will learn to live and let live; to show love, kindness and respect and to not judge others. Our only job is to treat others as we would like to be treated. And if we could all do that one little thing, the world would be a much better place to live in.

Oh 😮 I love Mickey He 🥰 But I definitely dislike Yingxian 😡 It’s his fault that she had to kill herself in order to protect her son 😏 If he didn’t go around doubting her and checking Yunke’s blood 🩸🤨 she would not be talked about, humiliated and scorned 😡 and his son would have not been called a bastard ☹️ So, it’s all his fault from the beginning 🙄 The emperor punished Meili and forced her to give up on him 🤫 but he had to force her to marry him anyway and as a lowly concubine at that 😡 mfr 🤬

How did killing herself prove anything? Admittedly l haven't watched the whole thing, but to kill herself and leave her son behind to face that and any of the ridicule surrounding him is cowardly, first thought would have been she did it because she felt guilty about something, not to prove your innocence or for the child's sake. ?? Anyway with such a sad ending don't know if l really want to go back and watch it at all now.

She killed herself because according to her twisted logic her death would clear her son name and to prove her innocence. She should have killed herself the moment she was granted as a concubine to this man. Originally she was granted as wife to another guy and the male lead has been granted marriage with his current wife. But he refused to let her go so he kidnapped her and ruined her reputation so that no one will marry her. He went to the king and requested a marriage but the king denied it so he threatened the king that he will kill himself , so the king granted him Milli under one condition that she will be his concubine. He immediately agreed without protesting. Milli as a Princess didn’t want to be a concubine so she was sad. After their marriage night , he immediately suspected her character because she didn’t bleed. He thought that she slept with her previous fiancé. Through our her pregnancy he suspected her , she had a premature birth because of his wife’s evil plan and hence he confirmed in his mind that Milli has cheated on him before the wedding. He never really accepted Milli’s son as his own and throughout his marriage he kept suspecting her. Milli is an idiot, though he showed little love throughout his marriage and didn’t passively defend her honour nor his son from bullying, every time he said loving words to her , she just melted and forgave him…. Typical doormat. His wife kept constantly poisoning her and trapped her in many schemes yet he didn’t stand down much to support her. Finally her death gave her peace but unfortunately she left her son with scheming woman and a mother in law who didn’t like her son. Fortunately the wife’s schemes and paternity were cleared soon so the son was safe.
