I say this in every video about Prince. So if other people have seen it. Its worth repeating because he's so unique. If you attend two of his concerts back to back,; like I have. He doesn't do the same show back to back. Each night was like being at 2 different shows. I mean songs that were not done the previous night. The arrangements, the order of the songs. Prince has such a vast array of hits songs and songs that he wrote for other artists that he could do multiple shows not singing the same songs. Amazing!! There is no way the band has time to rehearse a different routine every night. So that makes his band fantastic to be able to change a whole show at a drop of a hat. Only a genius could do that.

It’s 1978, and I’m the only student at the Un. of Kansas aware of a new artist named Prince. In our family history, we say this OUGHT to be true, even if it isn’t. Skip to 2020. A loving 40-year marriage has resulted in two unbelievably terrific kids RAISED on Prince. And one of them, the son, arranges a trip to Minneapolis for himself and his dad - me. Destination: Paisley Park. And so a gorgeous winter weekend in 2020 became so much more than time together with the man young man I helped to rear, and who I love so much. It became a part of my life... Purpose fulfilled. Because of one man’s genius. Thank you, Prince. You - your life and your music - meant something. My everlasting hope is that you knew it. And that you, too, knew the comfort of a life wherein could be found... Purpose fulfilled. We miss you so often, so much. RIP...

I was at the first show of the 4 he did in Utrecht, June 19 1987. When this song started some people in the first ring of the stadium took their cigarette lighters and turned them on the beat of this song. And in no time the whole stadium did this. Magic that night. After these 4 shows Prince decided to make a movie and added some extra shows in Rotterdam Ahoy to shoot it, June 26 I saw that show too. I think it was his best tour.

One of the most brilliant albums and amazing concert films ever recorded capturing Prince live at the height of his genius. Long live Prince.

I went to see this the first day it came out. Most under rated concert movies of all times. I can Lip sync the $hit out this song with a hair brush. Yeah I’m fifty now. And what?

Prince was a phenomenal, singer/musician/dancer who could perform any genre of music & he definitely proved it in this performance! 🎤 🕺 🎸 🎹 🔊 🎶
