I watched everything I could find on the Invictus Games in London this year. Prince Harry really carried the ball and was a true part of them. Harry has worked hard for his country as a soldier, set up a charity with a King in Africa plus roped in his friends to build houses, schools, etc during his holidays then still finds time to do charity work. Jan Trolan I am truly sorry that there are so many people who seem to dislike all the "Royals". I can see no reason why this should be, other than maybe envy. Prince William and Prince Harry, along with The Dutchess of Cambridge, all work hard for their Country. They are gracious and with a kind heart give so much to as many as possible. The Prince of Wales has many good foundations and has used his own finances to build up many parts of Scotland. The Queen and Duke are involved in charities that also support many. And all feel it is their duty to the Country. Sorry, but I feel they have earned our support no matter what Country we live in. I am an American, my background is British/Columbian on my Mom's side and Native American on my Dad's. I was brought up with respect for everyone and a special "love" for the Royal Family. And they, in turn, have earned my respect.

This little boy is called Carson and my mum is one of his carers, he was absolutely made up with the whole day, getting his award, and meeting prince Harry. Prince Harry weren't doing this for brownie points, he told Carson's parents privately how amazing he thinks Carson is for being so positive in life despite of his heath conditions. My mum is just one of his personal health carers who look after him in school or when he is in the hospital. I understand that having a monarch as head of state can be important in upholding the traditions of a country, but what I am unable to comprehend is why the monarch is not obliged to pay taxes like any other citizen. The Monarchy in the UK costs the British people around 60 billion pounds a year for just their upkeep. I believe that this money could be very well spent in some other manner. Why can't the British monarchy be more like its European counterparts? The Spanish royal family lead lives which are very similar to their citizens. If this fully grown man Harry had a proper job he would not have time to visit kids.

I find this wrong. This 4 year old boy is ridden with spina bifid a, He should not be hugging Lord Harry's bodyguard or Lord Harry. He has been told to hug them and that is wrong. The boy needs money, professional care, dignity and privacy. He should not be told to hug stranger men.

Spina bifida is not tragic, a fact that I know personally. Further, lots of 4 year olds are sweet and innocent enough to voluntarily hug people like that. It's a sweet moment between two people who are trying to be kind to each other, and I think we should respect that.
