He is prepared to pay for it he actually offered to but the ruling the UK say that only the royal protection squad can carry arms, private security are forbidden. So Harry's personal protection team in the US cannot protect him and his family whilst in the UK, they have said they will look at an application from him, for him alone if he gives 1 months notice. It was interesting to note that when Harry visited his dad a couple of weeks ago with 24 hours notice he was given instant cover the minute he left the plane. It's a choice the RF make because the king can override RAVEC whenever he wants to.

I have difficulty understanding his entitlement. Yes, he was born a prince. However, he made the decision for the betterment of his family to not be a working royal.
