Her role could be entirely different. She may be the change-agent that the Monarchy is ready for, switch things around, concentrate on raising the next King and royal siblings and work on a few worthwhile causes in more depth & breth, and leave the Royal Visits to those acting on behalf of the Royal family, like Sir David Beckham. And hundreds of well loved public personalities would be proud to represent the Monarchy & the public would be thrilled to have the chance to see them, which would leave the royals, and the royals of the future, able to justify advanced education and dedication to causes that their education & financial backing REALLY allow to impact society, in a significant way. It's brilliant and Princess Catherine is the one to MODERNIZED THE MONARCHY and move them into the next millennium ❣️

how old are you Gabriel 122 years old? Very few people pay reporters or photographers any money to seek them out and take their picture or report a story for them. What you see is the people that these writers and reporters work for creating stories out of whole cloth. I guess you and the other white folks who saw some crass Brit Who put a picture in the paper of a couple with a chimpanzee and equated to that to Harry’s baby. Ladies, I hope you weren’t comparing Fergie to the Princess of Wales in the way they dealt with their cancer. First of all, Fergie has always let her personal stuff “hang”out” Check out the toe photo and ties to soHo and the famous dead guy. They obviously had different types of cancer and treatment. The Princess of Wales has three small children., and is caring for the future King. My grandson had testicular cancer at 29 and he had two small children and another on the way. The hell the family went through was unbelievable. What you people need to be working is: where are the Sussex children with their documentation for line of succession, as well as concern for their welfare? Also, what is Harry’s status in the US? Do these people have something to hide?

The British public pays for the luxurious living of a bunch of not very attractive and not very accomplished older human beings who’ve done nothing to earn that quality of life except the identified as aristocrats or royal. Thank goodness William is the last king to send the throne. There will be no more royals on the throne once William steps down or dies. His children will not ascend the throne. Karen a.k.a. Dr. Deb, Princess Catherine will make changes in her life once she is back on her feet and fully rested and capable of participating in any aspect of the public life of the royal family. I think both she and William have learned a great deal from this experience and are still learning. A major health crisis when you’ve been healthy for a very long time can be overwhelming. Also, if your life is at risk and you have small children, the impact is that much more devastating. Seems most of you. Don’t understand that generally chemo can make you lose your hair too , that may be a situation affecting the princess and it is a difficult one for women with beautiful hair. I do think that bringing the Beckum on will began to move peoples thinking differently. It will show them that the royal family is not really needed in society today. What they do is nothing special. David Beckman and his wife are traditional celebrities, they’re not royal. They meet fans every day and deal with them and still have a private life and it doesn’t require protocol. It doesn’t require permission by senior staffers. Just meeting people and dealing with them on one basis as you meet them. William will be the last king for Britain. His children will not attend to the throne. The world is changing quickly and this antiquated idea that somehow there are people better than other people. It’s just a ridiculous idea. And it will end when William steps down or dies.

Karen, a.k.a. Diane, I’m not sure that you’re so successful to your germs during chemo because when I was getting my chemo infusions for my breast cancer diagnosis, that was not a problem for me. I think that princess Catherine had her surgery which by its type created enormous fatigue for her and she was going to need months to rest up. Then comes the diagnosis for cancer and chemo at least for me brought on enormous fatigue. So I suspect everybody needs to shut up and we will see princess Catherine when she is ready to make a public appearance. Until then get out of her business, go find a life for yourself. I cannot believe how gaslighting rude people have grown to be..

yes the op was not for cancer, probably for chrones disease. They probably removed part of her intestines, and naturally they go for assessing. being as there seemed quite a long time between the op, and them finding out cancer had been found, I am assuming they were told the day William cancelled his commitment suddenly. To me it would mean no cancer was found on the initial testing, but being as they are royal, they would have sent for more intensive tests, and maybe spotted 1or 2 cells. Se will be fine I am sure, but anything to do with bowels, can be dodgy, especially after an op, it is all about control, and getting bowel back to working properly. Chemo can be taken in pill form, and is not as strong as being hit by weeks of infusions. Lets face it if it was you or me and we had to make appearances here there an everywhere, we would want to be 100% certain that we were back to normal.

we don’t know her cancer, by that I mean the type of cancer she’s been diagnosed with. Removing all the cancer is iffy at best. But it does happen if called early and you have great surgeons. I had breast cancer and I lost all my hair. So we don’t know what kind of cancer princess Catherine was diagnosed with that. We do not know the impact of her cancer care on her body. And since it’s rude to start guessing anything about this woman’s life. It only makes sense for everybody to shut up and get on with their lives and when she is well and capable of being seen in public, I have no doubt that she will let us see her. Catherine is recovering from surgery, plus she is enduring a prolonged course of chemotherapy. She, as ALL cancer victims, deserve to be COMPLETELY recovered before returning to a normal life. Not everyone is able to do that..EVER.

I think that with all the mental rubbish that has been thrown at Princess Catherine, her operation and then finding out she had cancer they should just state that Princess Catherines first public visit will be at her Carol service. The woman has years of working for us as she wont be allowed to retire at 66 + and taking it all in to account I think she should take the rest of the year off (thats only a few months now.) If she gets a bit stir crazy then she can work from home doing paperwork of an under the radar visit. No one really cares about the stupid trolls and their conspiracy theries. I dont even watch those media places so wouldnt even know about them if the media stopped reporting on them. I cant see any one in the UK public begrudging her a few more months of being at home with the kids.

She may be the change-agent that the Monarchy is ready for, switch things around, concentrate on raising the next King and royal siblings and work on a few worthwhile causes in more depth & breth, and leave the Royal Visits to those acting on behalf of the Royal family, like Sir David Beckham. And hundreds of well loved public personalities would be proud to represent the Monarchy & the public would be thrilled to have the chance to see them, which would leave the royals, and the royals of the future, able to justify advanced education and dedication to causes that their education & financial backing REALLY allow to impact society, in a significant way. that is exactly right that is, and that is why you could invite a couple of local British celebrities to help you do those things. It was never anything substance or anything that defined an individual is being accomplished. One of the easiest things you can do is walk in front of a bunch of people and act like you are happy being there and talking to them. It’s not difficult and I don’t understand why a monarchy exist just to have people do that.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to be jaded here but the history of the royal family hiding things is epic and not anything new to this particular situation with princess Catherine. What may be going on here is that the type of cancer she may have is consistent with pancreatic cancer, which does not have a very good outcome, is a complex abdominal surgery quite unfortunately, this may or may not be the reason that she will not be returning to full service in the near future.

Princess Catherine does not have pancreatic cancer! Her original surgery shows that postop she would have an enormous amount of fatigue and that bed care was going to be needed for her to return in several months. Then we learned she’s been diagnosed with cancer and while we haven’t been told the type of cancer, almost all cancer that requires chemo has a side effect of deep fatigue. Which means whatever is going on this young woman has an enormous amount of fatigue and that requires an enormous amount of bedrest. She also has young children for whom she probably is trying to be present and she probably tires pretty quickly , so the result is that she and only she can determine when she is back feeling healthy and has the energy to even do a day at home with your children. She needs time and she needs us to stop guessing at the details of her life at the moment. She will recover, and she will be back, it’s simply going to take time..
