This version is IN. SANE. I LOVE it. Prince and band just expand on it, like he and the band just took it to a totally newer unheard of level that was never repeated in concert! Even the mechanical distorted LM-1 repeat motif is higher pitched and higher, guitar solos, piano improvising, the clap is is just insane with added clap to make it more funked out, man, I just love this. Ive heard it before in snippets, it would keep me up energized, so I'd stop listening, its just too funky!

I loved me some Boni vocal wise, but Organ wise Lisa would’ve been all over that organ solo with so many different elements. It’s a shame he didn’t merge the bands at that time into one band, because the musicality would’ve been so 🔥 with them all together.

@odelayy2 жыл бұрын
Yes, in mid 1986 he asked him to play the trumpet on a song which remained unreleased during Prince's lifetime and Miles guested on stage during a Prince show at Paisley Park on Dec 31, 1987 (the first Prince ever played there, 3 months after its opening). Miles Davis officially recorded one more time for Prince on a Chaka Khan song written and produced by Prince called Sticky Wicked in 1988.
