The beautiful ancient City of Samarkand in Uzbekistan (shown in this film) is the historically accurate place for things taking place in Prince Of Persia. It was the very heart of the Persian Empire at that time. I am so glad I was able as a kid to visit my grandma, as she lived there. Samarkand. A truly magical place to visit.

The fact that your production team can produce such breathtaking action choreography, and stunning visual spectacles, on a fraction of the budget that Hollywood studios have, is evidence of your team's tremendous talent and dedication. Conversely, Hollywood continues to generate an innumerable amount of generic action scenes, relying on quick edits, shaky cam, and darkly lit scenes to obscure shortcomings with the action sequences, and this is testament to the utter dearth of effort and ample complacency of Hollywood.

I mean, it's unnecessarily flashy. The Prince's parkour was always about efficiency and practicality (okay, mostly). This is a lot of fluff. Cool fluff, but fluff nonetheless. Choreo didn't quite land for me, either. I believe I've seen Devin do better. Heck, even the Storror boys are doing top-tier productions with their POVs and the recent Dying Light colab. This isn't 'bad', clearly a lot of time and effort went into making it. It's just not quite as good as this concept could be.

The video is spot on for the PoP game (that I own and like). The colors, specially the Prince of persia outfit, are perfect. And so is the music. Chalen Chan is amazing and the shots are beautiful. This is one of the best videos you made, in my humble opinion. Perhaps one day you have the possibility to direct a motion picture, who knows...?

So happy to hear that from a Prince of Persia fan :) And yeah, we put a ton of time into all of these, even prep with how we would portray it in real life, so hearing this makes me stoked! Thank you for the constant support with it all. And yeah, bigger picture was always motion pictures, but with that said, I have loved the creative freedom I have with creating content on KZbin with characters I love that I might not have the chance to do projects on in the bigger world of movies.

I tried mimicking the Prince's run technique irl. It doesn't really burn too much stamina. The Prince's half sprint technique is the reason why he never runs out of breath when being chased by something as inescapable as the Dahaka.
