Even the parry sound is the same as 2008 PoP. I love it, that sound is so satisfying.

@ParaSMG I didn't even notice at first, but since there are a lot of sound reused, I'm starting to hear them everywhere. Another sound is the wood when you break it. It is the one from the Sands trilogy when you break the barrels.

@ParaSMG maybe the hand sound when you jump on a wall, especially when you do the famous jumps between 2 walls, you can hear that clap sound of the hand. I think it's the one from the Sands trilogy.

I hope that this Easter Egg is a sign that they are considering doing something with the Prince of Persia 2008 Prince and Elika. Even though it is very unlikely, perhaps a small DLC to this game.

I guess they can add a reskin, even if... honestly I'm not a big fan of that design, the dumb giant bandana flowing around, lol but that Prince looks like fine art if compared to this hideous Killmonger wannabe

Really needed the ending of prince of Persia 2008 after DLC and prince of persia fallen king what happened to the calling of Ormazd and endig the wrath of Ahriman. Really needed the final sequel..😢

I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed playing Prince of Persia 2008. It’s a shame that it was underrated by the gaming community. I agree that it deserves more recognition. I hope that it will be made available on new consoles or even on Nintendo Switch in the future. 😊

Yeah, pop 2008 was a great game. It had its flaws ofcourse but still very fun to play nonetheless. Happy they made this easter egg. Still hoping for a sequel of some kind 🙏

almost hard to tell but yeah I'm starting to hear it. I really hope they add costumes from past Pop games, 2008 was my personal favorite as well as the very first one.

The sound effect of the "Rush of the Simurgh" (air dash) came from "Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame". It's the sound of the switch that opens/closes the ceiling screen, right before you sit on the magic carpet that takes you away from The Caverns towards the Ruined City.

That's so fcking cool pop trilogy and 2008 has a special place in me. I love their soundtracks and i'm obsessed with them. 2008's soundtracks they are perfect Healing ground,Main Theme,Menu main theme remix,A fight of light&darkness,Sæglópur,Breathe me. Damn man sometimes i listen to them while sleeping.

Absolutely yes, I heard it! And did you ever notice that T2T tune right from the start of intro-movie was used in 2008 main menu? :)

It’s sad, but I agree… and I say this as a fan of both Lost Crown and PoP ‘08. Lost Crown apparently sold 300,000 units within 2 weeks of release; a PoP ‘08 sequel probably would’ve moved those numbers in half the time!

I'm not a big fan of PoP 2008, but the theme song is arguably the best in the entire series (if you disregard "Time Only Knows", because it's a credits song, best song overall in the series)

I absolutely loved everything but the combat in pop 2008, Amazing voice acting, art, graphics and world design. But didnt like the slow combat which felt like rock-paper-scissors... But i so loved the chemistry between the two main characters. An amazing written script.
