Prince Raama varma ji deserves Padmavibhushan award next year .... He perfectly sings the carnatic music in the aryan clarity style and also so originally perfect blend of the dravidian style. .. many of his Gurujis have sung in pure dravidian style of carnatic music. .. as we have heard in 9day DVG Sir uploaded videos ... The perfection of lyrics and original style Purest form of songs along with the research on carnatic music musician and composers have made Varma ji on top charts . This song itself lands us in Lord Raama age ... bringing the history to life !!! Feast for ears !!!

Just watched/listened to part 1 of Prince Varmaji's explanation of this grand composition last night. And what a blessing this bonanza is!!! It was M.S.'s crisp, clear rendition that inspired me to memorize this song. With that background I am probably able to enjoy even more other presentations. I love Prince Varma's unhurried rendition with emphasis on proper splitting of phrases/words to convey the real meaning.

I heard it the first time when you sang for M.S.Amma's centenary and that was an unforgettable experience! Why the wierd, security camera look? The music ofcourse is heavenly!!

The place is dimly lit with oil lamps and the camera can capture an image, only in the night vision mode. It is filmed from outside, since cameras are not allowed inside. And because of the social distancing and the artists were sitting far away from each other, it was impossible to get everyone in the frame. Because of this, Varma ji had suggested that it would be better not to upload this, but then the music was so amazing that I couldn't resist uploading it today, when songs on Sri Rama attain a special value because of the month of Karkatakam.
