_Darrell_ _Lovett_ I loved when you stated that Prince' flow _dictated_ where he was. No one has come close to explaining Prince' masterful musicianship as you . I was introduced to Prince' music at the age of 14. My mother and her best friend would go to clubs and one day my mom came home with the Controversy album. She , unknowingly at the time, started a wonderful lifetime of beautiful and soulful music for me. As I became older I started to _listen_ to his words. He let us inside his soul, his mind and his world through his music. I got to see him in February of 1985 in New Orleans at the Superdome. I will _never_ _forget_ that night! As you already know, Prince was different than any other musician/singer on earth. He had such depth . I'll miss him _Forever_ . ☁️✝️☁️☁️

@@melodyal3357 For me it's the nostalgia of it all. My mom used to play the whole Emancipation album while she would cook dinner and me and my brother would be watching our daily lineup of tv shows. Along with tons of Sega Genesis play. Out of all the songs on that album this one just hit different. Had a sense of divinity to it. Later in my teenage years I began listening to the Emancipation album myself. And still again this song hit different than the rest. But this time instead of Sega Genesis I was playing PlayStation 2. Devil May Cry to be exact. And that's what this song really reminds me of Devil May Cry. Part 1. Back when it had more substance than just being flashy. Divine Brownies... Yeeeah!!! I would listen to this, play Devil May Cry and eat cosmic brownies I bought from Save A Lot just around the block. I would call them divine brownies. All because of this song and that divine sensation it gave off.

I went to a Prince concert in Amsterdam, Ziggo Dome concerthall, my first one ever, it was one of the last, if not, the last show he'd given in the Netherlands, I think in 2012. It was only Prince, a female singer, 2 female guitar players, a female on the drums, anyway, an all-female band, I think the name is 3rd-Eye Girl. We were not allowed to film with our mobile phones, to this day I am sorry, I didn't secretly try to, at least, make a sound recording, it was amazing, fantastic, thrilling, Prince was perfect on the piano and guitar, his voice imcomparable, unparalleled, unadulterated, I had chills the whole concert. It seemed as if he was in his own world and he allowed us to join in. He was magnificent. Every well-known song was in a different, new and surprising music arrangement, people went nuts. He ended the show with Purple Rain, it was awesome, prodigious. The show was from another world. I thank God that I had the opportunity to be in this concert. I can not express enough how amazing it was and how thankfull I am to this day that I was one of the lucky ones to experience this.

Prince Roger Nelson always kind , humble an elegant being. His contribution and his gift to this world to the music industry has been so masive and so important that wouldn't matter if he never ever sang another word or a song for life through the eternity. Prince was & still an American treasure it is so sad that people & friends around him didnt save , protected , guarded him. Most musicians will have ONE signature that is considered GREAT- name the musician + the song comes to mind. PRINCE created so many NEW + UNIQUE CATEGORIES THAT ONLY HE BELONGS: broke the standard for the codes everyone followed + dared not break...forbidden words, boring sexual limits no one dared cross, he made romance exciting + refreshing! Every song was totally different, delivered a new way of seeing romance, mixed with a electric energy (never seen before)...we never knew what direction he would steer us in but it was GUARANTEED to be new + exciting. No song, or video, was released until it was PERFECT! We MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY- YOUR WORDS, CONCEPTS, AMAZING MUSIC WILL LIVE ON FOREVER! For all of it- for giving us the GIFT OF YOU- WE “THANK-YOU” DEAREST PRINCE!!!!💐

One song to send to unknown worlds to show what is Humanity ? Yes.. maybe this one.. with some others from Janis J., James B., Neil Y., etc.. ? We should all do the same : give more than we take ? :) Not so easy.. so thank you Prince.

He truly is and its just a devasting feeling He is gone
This is such a beautiful song. I have been a Prince follower from his beginning. His lyrics are so deep, you can help but think. I feel a lot of different feelings as I get into his music. He was a beautiful being and gave us what God gave him to deliver.

Wow, one of my favorites( North Sea Version 2011 is equally as good ) Amazes me how much I miss this dude! Didn't have a clue how instrumental he was in my life's journey. Truly blessed to have the pleasure to grow up listening to him from the start! The only Love there is is the Love we Make! .
