I guess you are Canadian. Well BREXIT, does that ring a bell. They are hungry for trade deals. When article 50 in Lissabon treaty is activated UK most activate article 218 which means article 207 needs to be activated and that takes time because that is literally why the monarchy does this charm offensive. EU has trade deals with Canada, and when UK exit EU, UK needs trade deals as well. I live in a monarchy like UK, and believe me it's the same in my country. And you are welcome.

BREXIT means out of EU and the internal market, and UK is just smart to pull the monarchy card in time because EU does business with Canada and those deals will fall apart when they trigger article 50. Todays monarchy or constitutional monarchy like the british has to deal with trade and business relations. Why not use it anyway? Because they are the royal family of Canada when they're there, not a "foreign" monarchy - in a legal sense, whether or not in an emotional sense. May seem strange, but that's how it is. Anything that's "royal" - like the Royal Canadian Air Force - well, they're the "royal" that's referred to. Canada's a monarchy, the queen is Queen of Canada, and that's just how it is.

Why is there aircraft activity going on while literally the Canadian Prime Minister, Governor General and the future Kings of UK (and Canada) are milling around on the tarmac. If Obama was there, the entire airport would be in lock down mode until he moves on to the next location. Major security breach here in my opinion.Why weren't the cars already in position??Anybody in Secret Service care to comment??In any event, how could anybody hear the next person with all that aircraft noise???

I think the helicopter is military or some sort of security and I believe the loud aircraft noise is from the plane they just got off of. Just a guess though.
