Originally chatralies came from Kamdish/Nooristan Afghanistan almost a hundred years ago. They were forced by Afghan King Abdul Rahman khan to covert to Islam. After all, majority of them accepted Islam and remained in Afghanistan who are called Nooristani now but some didn’t accept and convert to Islam and they left and escaped from kamdish , Afghanistan for Chatral that is now part of Pakistan.
