Agree with what was said at the Davos conference. Worth noting though that if everyone had the lifestyle of those that attended the conference then the environment would be in much a worst state than it already is !! Like d. Attenborough, Prince William etc. Mainly the rich and world leaders etc attended. Davos is a ski resort especially for the rich and famous. Its only the poor that are really kind to the environment.

The best example of ECO protection are from some of the European countries with strict laws on pollution, wild life, renewable energy, recycling process and turning unspoiled nature into wealth. The developing and the 3rd world countries can learn something from these policies. Who will save the world for the future generation if not HUMANS themselves??

A small price to pay for the a mount of exposure it will generate.... Blue planet 2 did an amazing job at raising awareness regarding plastic in our ocean. There was a public outcry and Industries and manufactures are listening (in the UK at least) and are taking steps to reduce plastic waste. This programme will hopefully have a similar effect around global warming and other issues that we as a species are creating...

Technology has been a contributor to the climate issue, but it will be the thing that solves it. Why? Because we don’t want to give up what we have, and the energy we consume will continue to grow. But people need to stop the alarmist stuff ... the planet is not going anywhere, and has from the beginning, managed quite well. The planet will eat our lunch. The biggest challenge is what to focus on. We have many problems on the planet, and climate is one, but we can save many more people by focusing on other areas (and spending funds accordingly). The biggest concern is governments and politicians ... who demonstrably, create more problems than they solve. We can’t “save the planet” as the Prince asked. We can only save ourselves.
