Prince William serves food at homeless charity The Passage

The Duke of Cambridge has visited a homeless charity hours after being named as patron. Prince William first visited The Passage, in London, with Princess Diana in 1993 and has returned a number of times in the decades since. Report by Habiba Khanom.

I cannot help smiling; William is so good with everything he is doing. I like how he speaks with people when serving food to them. He speaks seriously but with a spark of humour. I like how he listens to people around the table; attentively without exaggerated gestures. He presents himself naturally and with dignity just like his mother did.

A couple of years ago I use to volunteer at a food pantry for a few hours throughout the weekday before heading off to work. It was fun and rewarding in it's own way. Also, it was a way of staying humble. Loved it. Good job, William.

I've just watched a clip of Rishi Sunak helping at a soup kitchen; this clip of Prince William doing similar work is a remarkable contrast. That reminds me of the work that the Bahnhofsmission do here. I am not sure, why people who have multiple spare rooms do not ren their space to the homeless unless these homeless people want to sleep outdoors etc. which is very strange indeed.

If he has just been named Patron, then let's hope he puts an end to homeless Period. Other than the expensive clothes they both wear, luxury holidays homes etc the list goes on & on, that money could easily put and end to homeless!
