I wonder if Catherine can possibly greet the players and ballboys/girls and then retreat to a private air conditioned room to watch the action so she is not amongst the crowds, then reemerge to present the prizes. That might work without putting her health at risk amongst too many people, and she can be there and be a part of it all. I know she loves it. I wish her the very best. I am a fan! Because of her divorce (and at Charles' insistence) Diana was stripped of both her royal "style" of HRH as well as her title as "Princess of Wales" She was not given an alternative title (as is customary) So, the press, being anti-Charles jumped on the chance to call her "Princess Diana" Why HMTQ gave into Charles' demands ... I will never know! (after all Diana was/is the mother of a future king -->William) 2.) Catherine has to use "Princess William" because she was not born a royal *if* she is not using her royal title: Princess of Wales. The same with: "Princess *Michael* of Kent." Give William a break! His wife is dealing with cancer. So is his father. He has three small children and his Aunt has had a serious injury. I'm beyond sick of hearing about the King ralking about a "slimmed down" monarchy! TO and TOW chose to leave. Others are sick, recovering or otherwise temporarily incapacitated. Andrew and Fergie have been permanently sidelined. NONE of this is a deiberate "choice" by the King.
