I have a cat he normally gives warnings before attacking and he actually saved us once he kept meowing my mom told me that if he didn't get our attention the house would be full of some kind of gas and we would have known too late or wouldn't even have known and cats can be affectionate just don't keep holding them or rubbing they're belly and touching their tail they don't like that Also when the cat attacks listen you would hear that the cat gives warnings animals will attack if scared

I'm no big fan of cats, but my family has a cat and she is a pushover, and has never bit me once ( we've had her for 8-9 years now) our last dog tho, he was nice but he was a biter and didn't know how to be gentle, he even chewed his metal crate open for gods sake! there is many many cats out there who do not attack their owners. i have a cat myself and its shy but very adorable. ive only bin attacked by her once because i was a baby. after that ive never bin scratched or anything like that. cats do not just attack you. im assuming you say that because you've never had a cat so you dont really know what its like. but cats are much nicer than you think. but there is some cats out there who are straight assholes, but from i know most cats are very friendly, you just have to act right for them to trust you.
