If you go back to episode 2, you’ll see that the same eldritch demon that Cyn is in this episode is the one N and Uzi fought in episode 2. There, Cyn says, “Oh, J’s not here. We’ve been trying to reprogram her as per our directive.” That could mean one of 2 things: Cyn’s working alone and trying to reprogram the other drones to help her, or Cyn’s working with the other humans that aren’t Tessa, and Tessa’s group has a different objective. It’s probably the former, as V says in episode 4, “New body, same horrors, huh, Cyn?” Meaning Cyn’s trying to take over all of the drones. V also knew this, but didn’t say anything about it. She must be trying to protect N and Uzi from something. It makes me wonder if N, V, Uzi, Doll, J, and Tessa are gonna start working together in episode 6 to stop Cyn.

On the VHS, that software cleanup program has the same progress indicator as the "virus" J injected into N back in the Pilot. She literally gave him a brain cell remover, and JC Jenson programed it to "be fun for them" which is why he was smiling and laughing when it was almost finished. That is royally messed up. Speaking of which, God, Tessa's parents sucked. Although I do like the Detail of N being chained up while birds peck at him, very similar to the Greek god Prometheus' fate. Poor N, just trying to protect his sister.

The blacked-out characters are humans. Its just their eyes glow to show emotion since they're all blacked-out. That metal sound when Cyn failed to hit Tessa was J blocking Cyn's swipe with the sword. Also note how when drones blink there's a digital winking sound of sorts while when Tessa or any other human blinks its silent. Also, its notable how Doll seems to be deteriorating a little, note how her resting pose has become closer to a puppet on loose strings, obvious after she teleports into Uzi's doorway and onto the lake, knees together, head down, arms limp, slumped over forward and generally unresponsive for at least a few moments. Doll's Absolute Solver is getting worse, Cyn is more and more in control and it seems Uzi at least is resisting Cyn better, perhaps something to do with Cyn having consumed Nori given her use of Nori's image holding baby Uzi in episode 2.

Not only that, but we already know that the reason humans glitch and are blacked out is because we are looking at them through digital memories. Think of a damaged VHS tape distorting a person's face. The same idea is applied here, except instead of physical damage altering the footage, the deliberate tampering of N's memory files causes the glitching. Still don't believe me? Consider the following: 1. Tessa says that humans are coming to the ball. 2. When those "humans" show up, they look just like Tessa with the glitching eyes and everything. 3. Why did Tessa call them humans if they supposedly weren't? As you can see, Tessa herself has confirmed the humans simply look like that due to stylistic choice. While I can't prove they aren't technologically modified humans, I can (and have) proven that they are humans in the first place. At the end of the day, it just makes more practical sense for them to be normal humans.

I think Tessa was hurt by CYN, and was made into a cyborg / android running on human intelligence. During the flashback, Tessa still cares for drones and even CYN up to a point. Once CYN reveals her plan to massacre the gala, Tessa comes up with a plan to escape her chains and kill CYN. Before that tho, she wanted to protect CYN while not allowing her much freedoms as she isn’t exactly favorable to her. In EP 4 there is a frame with CYN with a small human arm in her mouth. At the gala prep, Tessa did seem to have some pains in her arm even though the silhouette looked ok.

My theory is that either the descriptions of the people were either deleted immediately from their memories, or that the people were not human, and just a super AI that took over earth after the humans died out.

I'm legitimately confused as to what you're hearing. I can sort of understand forgetting that Tessa was shown to be a human in Episode 2 (it's been a few months) I think you mistake Tessa's name for Cyn's. Her (mom) calls her 'Tessa James Elliot', i.e. she pulled out the full name, i.e. she's in trouble. The human's aren't drones, the drones just can't 'remember' what a human looks like (remember, this is N's memory). Might I suggest for future episodes, do a rewatch of the previous couple episodes before watching the new one to refresh your memory.

I think uzi created some kind of virtual space from V's memories where she tried to simulate the events that took place since the real memories were deleted, bcuz in the basement you see a decapitated N and. Also the fact that when Cyn faced tessa and J Cyn was using the absolute solver until the hologram was dissabled showing a claw grabbing on the glove lead me to the conclusion doll and Uzi migh also be eldritch monsters or just technology has advanced to the point where you can use telecinesis

I still think there's a bigger bad/threat behind everything if Tessa,J, Uzi,N,V showed up at the end. Maybe they'll team up against the big bad villain/threat behind everything.

So here is my theory: the j we see at the beginning of the series is actually cyn, here is my evidence: 1. J after dying in episode one takes the form cyn takes in this episode 2. “J” says j isn’t here right now in that episode, as well as something about trying to fix/reprogram that host 3. It’s weird that j just randomly comes back and is with Tessa, but does not seem as Murderous as before And the nail in the coffin for me: cyn already shows the ability to shape shift, and since n and v would not remember anything like they didn’t at the start, it would be ez for her to trick them into thinking she is j And a bonus one: at the start j gives n some kind of kill code, I think that is what we see here, and in this episode cyn says “let’s get rid of those memories once more” The weird thing is: it implies that while cyn is in the memory as a memory(aka the one Tessa and j fight) a separate cyn seems to be there in the basement, aware of what uzi is doing as well as aware that n is currently getting his memories fixed… point is… I don’t think we have seen anywhere close to cyn’s true power

Since we are dealing robots n memories are like a cyber space which cyn as the adminstrator can observe. So i think it make sense that cyn would have manifested a firewall variant to prevent inteference in the memory reset

You're on the right track, but you've come to the wrong conclusion. We don't yet know how Cyn connects with the Absolute Solver program, however, it seems as though Cyn has implanted both 'herself' and the Solver into the Murder Drone versions of N, V, and J. The Murder Drones have an auto-repair function that's tangentially connected to the Solver, but not '100%' reliant on it (N's Absolute Solver was blocked by Cyn). It seems like if too much of a Drone is damaged, the Solver can no-longer repair it on its own (what happened to J in the Pilot). However, Cyn can 'force' the Solver to collect more material to rebuild the body (possibly as a puppet?) i.e. what happened in Heartbeat, we don't yet know if the fully rebuilt body will be its own entity. However, from what we see with V in this episodes flashback, a restored entity regains its previous personality. At best, Cyn can (poorly) imitate the original. She's a literal puppeteer, meaning she can't perform detail movements.

The reason why they are blacked out which this is just a theory is two things one it was to hide what the humans looked liked so the drones would not try to take their identity and try to get out so they made the drones eyes to where we can not see what they looked liked. The reason why this applies to us the viewer is probably because we are looking inside of n’s memories and that’s all he could see so that’s why we see them that way. The second reason was they got lazy and made us think of something like this so they could hide the fact that they did just not want to make all the blacked out people humans because it would take to long.
