"Staplerfahrer Klaus" is a real classic in Germany. It was made in 2000, some years before KZbin. It was meant as a parody of 1970s and 1980 boring educational films. The funny thing is that it is used as a educational film now. But it's far away from being boring.

A couple of months ago, we had an accident at work. The guy was run over by a forklift, he was dead instantly. That happened, because people didn't follow the rules. People all over the world are mocking us Germans for our urge to always stick to the rules, but on days like this, I am glad, that Germany is the way it is, because if it wasn't, accidents like this would happen much more frequently.
@Alias_Anybody2 ай бұрын
How does that even happen - was he lying on the ground? Was the driver racing someone with it?
@lethfuil2 ай бұрын
@@Alias_Anybody So you have any concept of how powerful a forklift is? Do you think people that get run over by a car are just lying on the ground? O.o Likely the view was obstructed, or the guy just came around the corner and didn't care about WALKways etc. It's literally the video AND the comment, that ignoring safety stuff is super dangerous. Even in a normal situation shit can happen.
@Alias_Anybody2 ай бұрын
@@lethfuil The point wasn't the power level. The point is that you have to drive them on sight. No load obstructing your view. No quick turns. Any decent sober operators will see people long before contact, unless they literally hide. And any sane pedestrian will walk behind physical barriers wherever there's forklift traffic and even a mildly obstructed view. Edit: They also use light and sound signals btw.
@lethfuil2 ай бұрын
@@Alias_Anybody "Any sane pedestrian" aaand here we go. 18 years in a job where operating a forklift is a part at least a couple of days a week. Trust me: Shlt can happen quickly and with just a little bit of carelessness on either side. There's no need for crazy irresponsibility, a tiny fck up CAN be plenty enough. And those just do happen in day to day life.

Fun fact: The ending scene is filmed on a road in a commercial area in my hometown. It sure looks different these days, but the tall building on the right still stands there (It's an old automated warehouse for a furniture outlet).

They used real blood for the recordings because the budget didn't allow for fake blood. The actor recently said that they had an iron taste from the blood on their tongues for days.

Little fact: the narrator of this parody is the same guy, that narrated the "7.Sinn" 7nth Sense, a TV trafic-education for dacades and also a lot of educational videos. So Staplerfahrer Klaus also sounds legit... at first;)
@christiankastorf48362 ай бұрын
And later on Egon Hoegen's texts divert more and more from the actual events in the film till they stop at all. The last carefully arranged irony is the advice to wear hearing protection and that is what the man does who wants to wipe that bit of food from his apron. He cannot hear the forklift coming and gets gored through his chest.

It is a parody about typical german work safety movies of 1980s. The german narrators voice is the voice of the man, who was then famous for being the voice of german safety movies.
@KingMongo19102 ай бұрын
Not a parody but the officially shot educational film of the Siemens Group for occupational safety on the forklift..
@christiankastorf48362 ай бұрын
@@KingMongo1910 NO!!! Do some research. When this film was made ambulances and police cars with that conical blue lights and a turning reflector in them had long died out. And just do some analysis of the relation between the texts that were spoken by THE voice for real German safety films (the news reader Egon Hoegen). The gag is that by hiring that man the impression that this film was "real" got created. But then, after the third accident, the texts support the action less and less till they stop.
