The goblins at 1:30 are voiced by Victor Spinetti and Roy Kinnear (Mr. Salt from "Will Wonka" who said "What is this, Wonka, some kind of funhouse?") who also voiced the villains from the "SuperTed" series, also made by the same studio as this. Prince Froglip (Harelip in the novel) is voiced by the same actor who played the title imaginary character in "Drop Dead Fred" with Phoebe Cates ("Wow! Cobwebs!").

According to the book, none of the goblins (but the Queen) wears shoes because it just isn't their fashion. The Goblin Queen wears shoes for a distinct reason. She wears them to protect them not from pain but from being seen, especially by herself; she hates toes (or is it any feet with more than one toe), and she has six on each foot.

I saw only a little bit of this movie when I was in an orphanage. They had the video at the orphanage library but I didn’t get to see it all and the tape disappeared after that. So I’m watching the full thing for the first time now. Sadly it’s not very well-known or popular because it came out the same year as The Lion King, Thumbelina and The Swan Princess.
