I found if I pay off my cruise very early the upcharge dining venues are all available as are the times. I am able to get all the dining and times I need without the package as we don't drink much alcohol. The packages don't work for us.

We absolutely agree with you. We could not make reservations at any Specialty dining until we paid in full. So we paid way ahead of the 90 days. We still could not get into our restaurant of choice and had to choose other ones. Can you imagine trying to get into a Specialty restaurant for every night? Carl and Patti Miller

Agree about the dining. We had 360 included on one cruise and couldn't book it because there were no openings. They refunded us $149 each when we went to the customer service desk to complain.

Plus works fine for us.The WIFI and gratuities make it worth while. I just wish the would come up with a cheaper package that doesn't include alcohol. They need a Plus/Minus package with coffee, soda, non alcoholic drinks and the rest of the Plus benefits. 15 days till our next Princess cruise. Hope you have a great Birthday cruise.

On our upcoming trip on the Coral P., my husband and I got the Premier but only because we booked through Costco and they were running some kind of promo where the Premier was the same price as the Plus AND got a 970 dollar Costco gift card. I forsee many nights eating in the Crown Grill. Well actually I guess the Bayou Cafe on the Coral P., although I heard some rumors that they are going to turn the Bayou Cafe into a Crown Grill at the drydock in October; they've apparently been serving the regular Crown Grill menu in there for a while.

I don't see Carnival changing its 15 drink limits, especially with all the fights making the news.

Yeah, I don't think going fully unlimited would be a wise idea for Carnival! 🤣

We have gotten the Plus package ever since it came out. Premier just wasn't what we wanted. I honestly would love it if they would make the plans more simplistic like it used to be - Wi-Fi, gratuities and drinks. Anyhow, as a Plus consumer the reason why Premier doesn't fit us is that we have a lot of OBC and if we want Specialty dining it comes out of there. We are pretty simplistic people and the Plus works for us even though we don't utilize all that if offers. If we wanted the Premier package, having it increase by $10 a day to me seems reasonable with the more options it has. Thanks for sharing!

If you have significant OBC I think it's wise to stick with Plus, especially with the difference between package prices growing. I wouldn't cruise on Princess without Plus at this point, but I find the Premier perks to be more alluring with each tweak the company makes. Thanks for watching!

We are sailing on the Coral on 10/17, will we be able to add the Premier when we board? And then will all the special dinners we already booked will be refunded?

You should be able to upgrade once you board, that's what we did using the app last November on Regal. In the meantime I would *not* cancel your reservations because they are going to be in high demand! Plus, your upgrade cost should be almost cancelled out by the refund of those dinners you already booked!

Isn’t it unlimited alcoholic beverages and not a limit of 15.00 with the changes? My understanding is all other beverages were included with premiere

Plus packages will still be limited to 15 per day, but the new Premier package will be unlimited.

We’re already booked & paid for Premiere package for our Sept-Oct 26-day to Hawaii. Do we need to pay the difference between the new pricing and our already paid package? I’m fine with the additions $$.
