This was Princess Kate’s first public appearance since December when she revealed to the world she was battling cancer and would have to undergo preventive chemotherapy.

Princess Catherine was so beautiful. You could tell that she was tired but she was there with no "look at me" moments. It was a long day for both the King and the Princess but both were there and smiling. So good to see her and the King. Prince William in the rain on a horse and other members in the rain and still they were all smiles. They were all representing the King on his birthday and trooping of the colors. Big difference ... Kate celebrated her husband for being a great father and William celebrates his father with a picture where Harry isn't present in the picture. I didn’t know anything about the Jam and dog biscuits until I saw it on programmes such as yours. I think the world was too busy watching the working Royal Family do what they do best in style. The King and The Princess of Wales were incredibly stoic about their health and you cannot help but hugely admire them both. I felt Catherine looked pale and tired, but still had grace and style. The media needs to give her some serious space. I believe it was the pressure from the media that forced her out in public too soon.
