Pretty much almost every single one of Peach’s disses were just how Amy isn’t actually with sonic, while Amy broke Peach down in every category. I think Amy won by a looong shot, but I think it’s an insanely good battle.

The lines have same intent but hit differently every time so imo it's basically different. Also in comparison to peach, amy doesn't have much development so it's harder from a writing standpoint and peach gotta work with what she got

The "Toad in your pants" bar was because of Smash Bros where Peach has a move in which she pulls a toad out of nowhere, so the joke became that she was hiding the Toad under her dress. The "When it comes to smashing you only got spirit" bar was a Smash Bros reference, as spirits are support "items" that you equip to characters before the battle to give extra effect(improving some stat of the character like speed or power, letting the character start with an item, etc.) Amy is only a spirit in the newest Smash bros(and IIRC her first appearance in the series) while Peach has been a character since the second game in the franchise.
