I agree, it is disgusting that some people hoard cats. Unfortunately, the hoarding is a symptom of mental disabilities, such as depression, delusion, obsession, dementia etc. and they deserve some sensitivity and help. My childhood neighbor was an animal hoarder. They had dogs, cats, chickens, rodents, and even a horse at one point, in their barely one acre yard which was, ofc very well hidden by fencing. It didn't happen overnight, it was a steady decline and accumulation of all these animals by the grandpa of my childhood friends. It was obvious he was going through depression and too deep to take back control of his situation. It can be very easy to judge these kinds of people, but they are often physically or mentally sick. So if you ever want to help stop people from hoarding animals, the first thing needed is compassion and understanding. It would save not just the animal's lives, but people's lives too. :)

That INFURIATED me to hear a Vet so nonchalantly say to euthanize her! What a heartless POS! Thank God Chis is a Very experienced rescuer! If a "lay person" had rescued Princess, & didn't know any better & trusted that MORON of a Vet, she would have been Dead! And basically, flippantly, MURDERED by that Vet! You ONLY euthanize an animal when ALL other measures have been taken to save their life, & it becomes clearly evident that it is more kind & compassionate to let them cross over. Thank God for Chris for not giving up on her, as well as the Wonderful & compassionate Veterinarian & staff that helped save her life! She really turned out to be a Gorgeous kitty! The ppl you show, the shelters, the volunteers, the fosters... I see empathy and action, making a huge difference. I was never a cat person until a kitten that was left on a highway, came into my life. She was so small, I named her Lilliput. She's my mom's companion and my baby. My mom feeds several strays daily where she lives. Lilliput is family. She's affectionate, she's a diva, spoilt and she definitely runs the house. Thank you for sharing your stories with the world. Not to slam vets - many are very good. But this is why we take our kitties to a cats-only vet. Too many times we've been told to put down cats that were definitely able to be helped, and were. Our vet (a clinic with privileges) now won't recommend another she sent me to, for a more serious heart problem, that suggested we kill our cat. And I was not the only one. Some vets are just not that into cats, and don't want to expend any effort. Sad but VERY true. Listen to YOUR heart. Now our vet has a relationship with another that is going to respect the cats she sends over.

hey there I'm Raven Animals and Children, I just can't take it. There is no legal dose of Lexapro capable of holding my anger and tears over defenseless animals and children. They are so innocent and beautiful, how could anyone NOT WANT to treasure them? I think another reason I hold a grudge against my mom are the stories she told me about when her family had pets and they would just ignore them so it would leave or they would take the pets far off and just leave them. Funny thing is, those cats they treated that way were smart as hell and ALWAYS STAYED AROUND OR FOUND THEIR WAY BACK!!!!!!!!!

I cried. ,my heart broke and then my heart warmed. I’m just so glad these cuties are going to be okay. I’m a really big cat lover, and I also have a big heart..her face really is precious in the end. I hate to hear cats in pain,crying..but it also warms my heart from the fact that she’s being cared for! I felt so bad when I saw the fleas, roaming all around her. I’m so glad that she’s fine with some food,a home, and her precious little mew for food x3 So basically I just want to say,Im so glad that everything turned out great for this precious gal. Her cage is like her on little princess castle! Im so glad that she got the right person to foster care her,and I’m so glad her siblings and her are doing okay! They’ve grown up and recovered so much when you went to visit them. I’m glad that she’s all settled in and happier now!

It was hard to watch (especially since I lived in similar conditions as a child), but they did such good work on getting these cats healthy and comfortable. It's pretty shocking what a gorgeous coat she had under all that filth. She ended up having on of those light calico/tortie fur patterns. So pretty! Anyway, I have PTSD and depression, so I totally get skipping out on on certain videos. I just wanted to tell you how happy she and the others look at the end. She seems really comfortable in her current home, playing with her toys. It's great to know that there are people out there who are willing to put the work in to help neglected animals get happy and healthy. Best wishes.

I've been trying to go visit my friend's mom whenever she's going there so I could see the cat I rescued. He would've been euthanized due to being so timid if it weren't for the fact that the shelter's owners could see that I would be heart broken if they did that lmao. My friend adopted the cat for her mom and he's been living happily there now for almost 2 years! He's come a long way since then, apparently now he will trust strangers after observing them for a while! I wonder if he'll remember me... I hope he will, I still remember the day I laid my eyes on him and immediately fell in love. You should always try to help fur babies! No matter how young or old they are, they all deserve love and care and should always be given a chance. Princess is a good example of how a kitten with such a bad start in life became a lively, healthy and happy cat!

🤗I try to encourage every🐱🐶 animal😍 lover to keep food and water in their car, in case they find a stray or abused🐶🐱 animal. For years, if I find an 🐱🐶animal in need, the very least I would do is make sure🐱 it has ample food and water. 🤗 I put the food in a dry place, like inside a box that's large enough for the🐶🐱 animal to reach. Doing this on a regular basis absolutely can save a🐱🐶 furbaby's life. 🤗 I have been feeding a🐱 kitty for over a year. It doesn't cost much money and it feels😄 great to know that 😎you are saving a life!!!🐱🐶🐾💖 PS...If 🤗I find that one 😊person tries this suggestion, it would make 🤗me sooooooo 😄HAPPY!!!!! 💖 Thank you!!!!! 🐶🐱🐾💖

"They advised us to euthanize her" well, that wasn't very nice of them :/ I am so inspired by your hard work to rescue kittens like this one, I mean, look at her now 😄 this world needs more people like this. Cheers!
