I live in a Mobil home park where people move out and just leave their cats, they show up on my porch starved and hurt. I take care of them and use some of my grocery money to feed them well. And they are not going anywhere, they will always have a home with me.

Hey, same! Guy from India, here. I used to feed and be friendly with a stray mommy. About a year ago, she had 3 kittens. I wanted to bring them inside and do something for them, but my living situation was unsteady. Within a month, I'm not sure what happened, but two of the kittens stopped coming to see me when I came to our usual feeding zone. That was it. I took a plunge and bought them inside. Had some ups and downs with my living situation, but we're now happy together!

It's like on top of the usual emotional stress of seeing animals who've been through some shit, now there's the added emotional stress of my brain and heart and arms and hands spending the entire video howling WE NEED. TO HUG. THOSE KITTIES!!!! So this video was just utterly, absolutely blissful. Petting, and cuddling, and brushing, and more cuddling, and more petting, and holding, and petting, and loving, and oh my god, the music choice, too. He was very afraid at the rescue , direct from the streets, in our harsh winter in 🇨🇦, but at home, he became suddenly only cuddles and hugs. He was our Christmas gift, due to the vet bills and he is wonderful! He is amazed to have a toys box and nap with them. He has his leather sofa in my room and he sleeps at night on top of my old disabled guinea pig cage. ( i am bedridden) .They love each other, my piggy helps him each morning to steal the hay from his cage for a quick breakfast! They are hilarious! Often, i awoke with his big butt on my pillow and the rest of the cat on my lap! All people are in love with him, he likes to appear on camera when my daughter is in meetings! I once got so mad at a kid for what he said to my friend, that i punched him and broke his nose. I was sent to the princapal’s office for it. We were together up until highschool, where he had to move away. He was very smart and was accepted onto a really nice college. Only thing was it was very far away. I was really sad to see him go, but he said that if someone tries to make fun of him, he’ll do what i did and break their nose and see if they think that’s funny. It’s been years since i’ve seen him, but i heard he’s down in washington, working at some big library. He always loved books. I wonder if my friend and teddy would get along well.

I've never liked cats. Like NEVER I actually hated them. Until my neighbor who lives downstairs brought a baby cat home. I never mistreated him, and I think I've been the most affectionate with him since his neighbor is never home. The reason I never liked cats it's because they would never let me grab them and would scratch me or whatever and this cat is kinda like teddy he let's me hold him like a baby. Thanks to that cat I'm here looking at cat videos and now I actually like cats and see them on a whole different perspective. 💜👌🏻

I just rescued a male adolescent cat 3 days ago. I was out in my garden and he came out of nowhere crying and begging for help. I gave him a bath and took him to the vet the next day. He is currently quarantine due to very contagious parasites. I have two cats already. This poor cat kept thanking me constantly. Every time he would go to eat food, he would take a minute to stop and come over and at least let me know that he was grateful for my help. We've a long road ahead of us but it really amazes me when these animals show up and actually ask for help. ❤ Thank you for sharing your kindness. There is another cat in my neighborhood that's got to bend over ears like this little guy which is a sign that there's a lot of health issues going on with him and possibly nights. I can't get him to trust me though. I'm picking up a big carrier so I can help more cats in quarantine them until I can find homes for them. My vet has given me discounts because I bring in so many homeless cats. Shout out to Rasnic Animal Clinic in Duffield, Va!😢

The minute one foster goes out another one can come in which is one more life to save. So yeah it hurts to say good bye but remember why you do what you do. You're meant to be the temporary home until the forever home is found. It feels good to know every foster that goes thru your home didn't have to die out on the streets!

@@mircat28 last year I viewed a cat at a foster home and I could not adopt the cat because the foster parents loved him already. He already had a home and I felt like I could not measure up to their expectations for an adopter. So I did not take him though I liked him. I did however take a cat from a family through word-of-mouth, who simply dumped her off at my house and took $50 from me for her. They couldn't have been very good cat parents as they never answered my request for her vet history.

When they're that dirty it comes as a relief for them. My cat fell in our pond and nearly drowned. She looked like one of those seabirds after an oil-slick. Normally she would freak about a bath, but she was really calm and just let me wash her. The bath became *completely* black. Then she let me dry her with a hair drier, something she would normally never had let me do.

Look how beautiful his coat is!!!!! Thank 🙏GOD🙏 for people like you. I just adopted an amazing pure black cat that was dropped off by someone into the feral cat community here in Staten Island. Just like Teddy, she wasn’t feral, nor a stray. How could she defend herself? Someone noticed that she was not feral. She was brought into a shelter and foster home. She is now happy and healthy in her forever home with me. Lord knows they know when they’ve been taken care of and adopted. Thank you so much for all that you do. ♥️Much Love From SI♥️

I used to never wanting a cat, and one day I came home from work and I heard “meowing “ . I looked at my husband and said what’s going on? His reply” that’s a cat, and he is STAYING! I went to the store to get cat food, litter, toys. The cat was given to my husband by a co worker, but I took it the vet anyway. It is a mix main coon cat , black with yellow eyes. We have not taken any vacations since 2012 and my husband is blaming me cuz I won’t leave my cat to anymore. I became a cat lady. My cat is AWSOME!

It’s a good decision to not go on a vacation and leaving the cat home. Even though our friends and family came over and took care of our cat, her immune system seemed to weaken and she was under a whole lot of stress, and she got ringworms right after. It had happened twice and I’ve also decided not to take on a vacation for the sake of my cat.

Don’t you have cat hotels over there? There are places that are so great for your cat that the cat would almost prefer to stay forever. It might take some searching to find heaven for cats, but it’s out there. Most of us paint ourselves as the ultimate care giver and that our cat would be miserable and suffer if we went away. The truth is that there are a lot of others out there that can give them so much attention and love while you’re on vacation. There are hotels out there that are beyond your wildest dreams, where your cats will thrive in. You just need to find it.

I was always a dog person, never had a cat personally, my sister in law works at a veterinarian clinic and asked if I and my brother wanted her to bring a stray cat home that he was nice, mind you I was still heartbroken after my beloved dog passed away, didn’t see any harm in having a cat, he was rough looking but cleaned him up fed him, respected him & within a month he turned from a tough stray to the most spoiled, pampered yet lovable cat that I could of ever hoped for.
