As far as I can remember when Greeks were asked whether they wanted the monarchy imposed on them by foreign powers they overwhelmingly voted against it. See Greek Republic referendum 8 December 1974. 70% voted against monarchy. These are the facts; whatever you say is irrelevant..

There has been a Greek royal family since the 18th century. The Greeks ASKED for a royal family. Thus came the royal Greek royal family whomt are decendents of the Danish royal family. After the death of king Pablo's of Greece, the Gove illegally took over Greece. They abolished the monarchy in Greece. All modern royalty adhere to the official government of their DEMOCRATIC COUNTRIES.

@@margiekhleif4865 no government abolished the monarchy. In the referendum 8 December 1974, 70% of Greeks voted for the abolition of monarchy. If the Greeks wanted royals, why would they accept foreign royals and not their own? Stop spreading lies..

A referendum is the most democratic way for citizens to express their opinion. 70% of Greeks told the foreign royals to get the hell out of Greece and that’s how we got rid of them…keep on dreaming but stop spreading lies..
