The best thing about this was that the lady was not obnoxious or off putting. I watched the whole video because she made seeing the trailer a pleasant experience. I liked the rear kitchen. It eliminated eighty percent of the clutter that is usually in a small camp trailer. With the right awnings and and lightweight chairs this would be the perfect low stress sleeper.

A lot if comments about no bathroom/outside kitchen etc. This is not for everybody but, there are people who want to step up from tent camping and have a smaller vehicle, this works perfect for them! This company has a step up with those wanting those other things.

B Randell a mini composte toilet and a detachable shower ring for the outside will be just fine. You can store it the ground bin. Just an idea to fix the toilet. Prob. You can buy both at any academy or other sports store.

wow this is an amazing teardrop. Probably the best i have seen. I love that it is rugged but still sleek. The kitchen is amazing and May I suggest maybe making a drop down Shower curtain for an outdoor shower. But more important I need a toilet when i go camping so until a tear drop comes up with that i cant see myself buying one. a toilet to me is more important than a shower or the fancy kitchen. love the way the beds fold up and slide around.

Thank you for that walkthrough. I feel like I went to an actual dealership and looked at the camper in person. Good job. Only one side note, that module the presenter pointed to next to the inverter is a gas detector. Right after she pointed at it, there is CLEARLY a smoke/carbon monoxide detector over her head she didn't point to (at 19:24) This would have been the perfect size for my last car to pull, I now have a truck and need a bit more room. Keep up the good work PC. More choices is always better.

The design of the outer shell and the kitchen finishes is FABULOUS. In the long run I think you guys should relocate the fire extinguisher up higher and hinge that lower door on the left in the kitchen area. Other than that great trailer for short trips. Even small runabouts could pull this thing.

Presentation excellent! How about a floored tent to attach over kitchen, with private area in tent for portable potty and an outside shower. Water could be heated in microwave or on the stove or a heating element switch to heat water for outside shower. Love the look! Love the graphics! Just needs some add-ons.

It is sharp looking and although not a fan of outside kitchens this one is nice except like all of them the fridge is too small , I guess a cooler would fix that, but listen im not sure what the issue is with tear drops travel trailers etc etc etc. there are 4 major needs in a RV set up a bathroom a bed a dinette and a kitchen (hey and how about another option other than gas - they need to look at what the marine industry is doing) these 4 things are common yet it seems you need to go 25+ft. to get them, then sort thru 10 floorplans that never give you what you want, except Air Stream and they want almost $60K for a 16 ft trailer which they seem to have no problem with those 4 features. Great video always thorough and professional ! Thanks

Looks like the south end of a Toy Hauler headed north. LOL Just kidding, I like it but wish the kitchen was inside so you can avoid bugs in your food, and no, don’t feel like putting up a screen tent every time I want to cook something. I love the short height, it would fit under my carport and I would not have to pay to store it at some facility. Perfect size and weight for a small Toyota, Ford, Chevy, Dodge truck, or suv to pull. A little more tweaking here and there, and it will be perfect for more people. I love the lady that demoed the trailer, 5 foot of dynamite TNT, love your responses to comments. I bet you are the life of the party and your husband doesn’t mess with you. Thank you and take care.

Nice looking trailer. Only question I have is the air conditioner is located behind those cushions and if they are not folded out while the a/c is running, how is it able to get sufficient airflow? just wondering.

The cushions can be configured in many different ways throughout the space. If the A/C isn't running, the cushions pose not issues at the back, but they're easy to pull away when the A/C is in use... even if by just a few inches.

That was something when the back was opened to show the kitchen, impressive...me though, I would save up for a Class B+ type RV, because I LOVE to constantly snack in bed , and having to go outside and then lift up the lid to get access to cook or microwave would be a drag. Plus I would imagine being exposed to the elements would require a lot of work to keep clean. Still pretty cool though. Even bigger drawback though with this, is the lack of standing headroom.

So sorry, but I would like to have the kitchen in side due to wind, dirt and rain. The second thing is a bathroom because it is more important then a tv and magazine rack. It started out good but ended in the design.

That's all fine! It's good to determine the features that you consider essential to enjoy camping. It sounds like the traditional teardrop trailer features don't fit your camping philosophy. There are some really great teardrop trailers now that break from the traditional teardrop design and have features you're looking for. Consider a design like the T@B from nüCamp. You can have both an inside cook space and a wet bath.

Rather surprised to see people complaining about the size and lack of inside kitchen and bathroom etc. Clearly they do not understand the very nature of a teardrop trailer. It isn’t for everyone. Basically a step up from tent camping. Enclosed with protection from the elements. $20k? Indeed high priced but I have not seen it in person to see how well it is built and the amenities but a nice looking unit.. Small enough that any car could tow. Hell a 1200cc Harley might be able to tow that! Never seen a 40” TV and AC in a teardrop before! That is great and no doubt ads to the price.

Not a short in the LED marker... we used a wire to “jump” or connect two posts in the 7 pin plug to light up the running lights in the video. Our jumper wire was loose. Running lights like that LED don’t illuminate unless connected to a running tow vehicle... unless jumped like we did. Our wire was loose, not the Luna’s.

The unit was a pre-production unit that made the rounds to various shows before we got ahold of it. 100s of people viewed it, inside and out, in person, in numerous settings, before it came to us. It’s pre-production, but all components do work. Imagine the auto shows where teams literally push the non-functioning pre-production demonstration units into the platform. This is all there, and it all functions. It’s an industry award-winning design and build. The Formica on this heavily toured unit does show wear in the video. Considering the life it’s lived as a touring display unit that’s seen lots of human viewers handling all of its components... it still turns heads in person and shows beautifully. Shortcomings you’ve listed elsewhere really just fall into personal preference categories and speak to your preferred creature features and needs as a camper. Preferences like those are as individual and unique as you are. This is a teardrop trailer. It fits that category of camper and feature set beautifully. If you require more amenities, space, and residential comforts, find them and whatever gets you out enjoying life and the beautiful world we live in. Go live your adventure!

Nice concept for small V6. They might have to go back to the drawing board and tweak it some. The LP tank should be outside so the bench storage can be fully utilized since interior storage is minimal and then the bench can be used as a bed for a child. Kitchen should have a screen-room attachment or prepare for a zillion bugs on you and your food while cooking 😂 A/C needs to be on roof to make room for food and other necessities in kitchen. You would need multiple boxes stacked inside the unit for your stuff since there is almost no storage. Not to hurt your feelings but the video should of been much shorter too much about too many insignificant things I kept fast forwarding to get to the point

With the rear door tilted up to access the kitchen I can't help but wonder where all the run-off goes. The roof line and rear door both direct all the rain to the vee at the hinge where it can only spill over at the corners and with nothing to control or direct this flow I wonder if it gets into the "kitchen area". Also wonder where the condensate water from the A/C unit ends up ? Also, I'd like to know if those folding seat cushions could be purchased separately ... they were my favorite part :-)

Rain water is directed to the sides where there are “channels” for the water to flow down on either side of the kitchen. There’s a port beneath the trailer specifically for the A/C condensate water. It safely drips below, not within the camper. The folding mats can be ordered. Contact our parts department for details and pricing.

Around 9:15 I see small (rubber??) buttons on the 4 corners of the sink. Is there something that sets over the sink like cutting board?

Those are rubber bumpers, just like you see beneath the glass cover for the range. There are 3. I don't believe there's a cutting board cover for the sink in this configuration, but they may be a part of the original sink design before InTechRV decided to go with the pull-down faucet for this unit. Many RV faucets articulate and fold down in a manner that would have made a sink cover work... so that may have been part of the original sink design.

Not really. If you come from a traditional tent-camping background, teardrop trailers are a step up on functionality and ease. That's who these designs are really popular with, people who love more traditional camping sensibilities, but want a bit of added ease, functionality, and security. It certainly isn't the same category as more house-like camping trailers, but that wasn't the purpose in the first place. Teardrops have been popular since the 1930s.

I thought the video was the perfect length. As a person in the market for a teardrop, more is better. What I can’t tell is how big the bed is and how comfortable it is going to be with the pieces that make up the seating. Sleeping is going to be the most important in the end. Anyone know?

No stone guard in the front, nothing protecting the front glass, you need a screwdriver to access the LP tank, you have AC but no heat, no outside access to the storage, no place big enough to store a portable toilet, no water heater, furniture that you have to put back in place every time you stop, screens that just hang in front of the window. The list goes on and on.

Perfect size camper, Not to large and not too small. Can also fit in a standard size garage. A cheap throw rug would make it homey. Couldn't tell if there was a shower attachment on the outside. Needs plating on the front otherwise it will get dinged up.

Kurt the cat no exterior shower. The front has a clear urethane coach guard covering at the bottom. A soft padded cover is in development for the windshield as well.

Kurt the cat there is backer in the roof for a roof rack, a Luna specific roof rack is in development and a RoadShower could be mounted to it. I have a RoadShower...love it!!

It's nice but the LPG tank under the seat takes up too much interior storage space. I would move the tank out onto the tongue with a cover, put the AC unit under the front bench and free up the space in the kitchen for food storage.

You’ll need to consult the owner’s manual for your RAV4. We haven’t set up a hybrid RAV4 with a trailer yet, so we don’t know what Toyota says that vehicles capabilities and capacities are. We avoid any setup that would void a tow vehicle’s warranty. Our smallest, lightest trailers are the NuCamp T@G teardrops. Once you know your vehicle’s ratings, our sales team can certainly help you see if there’s an option that meets your goals.

Hi there! It sounds like you aren't familiar with the teardrop trailer way of doing things! No problem. Teardrops, basically ultra portable sleeping compartments with outdoor cooking areas, have had a large, avid, and unique "cult following" since the 1930s. There's actually a rich history here and across Europe for trailers of this style. So, if you're out there for adventures in the outdoors and you're kinda rugged... or if you stay in places with facilities, teardrops might might work for you. They certainly aren't for everybody, as they're definitely closer to tent-camping than other trailer options. Thanks for viewing and commenting!

That has been a concern for many, but there have been no reports from owners of rocks being kicked up by the tow vehicle and impacting the window. There is a short tongue, so the window is really quite close to the tow vehicle. It would be very difficult for tires to "knuckle ball" something up at the angle needed to impact the window. It is a common concern, though! You aren't alone!

They have the seating backwards on this trailer. The most comfortable seats are facing away from the TV. They need to find a way to move that propane bottle somewhere else so that table in the center can be removed and just have one long comfortable couch. The way they have it now it wouldn't be too comfortable watching TV for very long on those chairs.

Sorry, I stand by my comment, moving those folding chairs/bed cushions to face the TV would take up way to much room as they would be in front of the other chairs. They need to re-position that propane tank to the tongue, that would free up much needed in-door space to put those folding seats up against the front wall facing the TV. You can tell those folding chairs/bed was an after thought and they just stuck them where they are without much thought, those folding cushions are blocking the AC, what good it that? if your inside on a hot day watching TV on that bench seat you said are the best place in the trailer you can not use the AC. And most people like to sit back and watch TV, with that bench seat there is no back support or any place to put your arms unless you like them on your lap. Sorry they need to re-think this lay out. They need to put that propane tank out on the tongue. and get rid of that table then this trailer would be something to consider over the little guy.

wrangler the futon style mattresses can move anywhere in the trailer, the seating is VERY versatile.

wrangler I think if you saw it in person it would make more sense. When the mattress is in the bed position it does not block the A/C. If you are sitting on the movable chairs watching TV, they would be located furthest from the A/C which share the same wall as the TV, you wouldn’t position the chairs on the same wall as the TV.

Why does that light on the forward surface of the left wheel well keep cutting out?

Because it’s a running light. Running lights don’t turn on when the trailer is plugged into shore power, so we rigged a little jumper cable in the 7-pin plug of the trailer to light up the running lights. Our little rigged jumper cable wasn’t securely in place, causing the blinking you see in the video.

I like a lot of the features like the three burner stove and the pull-out sink sprayer (helps a lot when rinsing dishes). BUT--the screens that simply hang in front of the two windows should be replaced with a more functional screen that truly blocks the insects. Also, the interior of that fridge is minuscule. A front access fridge would offer a lot more usable interior space. The location of the ac unit looks awkward. And that huge front window should open and have a proper screen.

How long is the bed? Can it be set up sideways or is it too long?

71" long... just under 6'! They are too long to be set up sideways, but side-by-side creates a nice space for two average sized adults.

This is already a monster in length when compared to other teardrop shaped trailers and therefore no reason to have an outdoor kitchen! It does not matter how sophisticated this one is, this application is just not all weather friendly at all. Otherwise so cosy and practical inside, what were you thinking when that was designed? This is from an australian perspective and not much good in any cold climate countries as we used something similar in the past.

It doesn’t sound like you’ve actually stood next to one of these. It isn’t a monster in length vs. other teardrops, including the very popular T@G teardrop trailer. We show them side-by-side daily. This one is slightly longer to make the front window possible, and really just a few inches taller. The thinking... camp in it exactly the same way people have camped using teardrop trailers ever since the 1930’s. It’s been working for teardrop trailer enthusiasts around the world in all seasons since then; with the outdoor kitchen, and cozy sleeping space. If it’s not for you or you don’t understand it, there are plenty of excellent options out there that we’re sure would fit your camping needs.

I am amazed that the hob is right next to the sink? Would that be a bit bad having water next to a gas hob. the splashes from the over the sink tap and sallow sink would fly all over the gas hob no matter how careful you are! Also why orange body lights on the front of the bodywork? there should be light blue or batter yet white lights for the front and the red lights for the back and the orange side lights? Because that is the right light set up for a caravan or trailer on the road? then drivers seeing the red lights Know that is a back tail part of the trailer or caravan orange lights means side and white or light blue means you are seeing a trailer or caravan coming towards you? I hope there's a tent you can attach to the back so the cooking area is better enclosed because rain don't just go downwards the wind see's to that? Nice caravan. One last picky point you said you are 5 foot tall, you look 6 to me :) but the ceiling hight means you have to be a 3 foot high dwarf to be able to walk upright inside LOL.

jkoenig24 a soft padded cover is being developed. The proximity of the window to the tow vehicle is at an angle that rocks would have a tough time reaching the 3-ply tempered glass. The cost to replace the windshield is not too bad, UNDER $500 I believe.

I love the style, shape and design features, mostly. You really should redo the video and cut it in half or more... way too long for much folks. What I really like is: the front glass, the front cap, the fenders, the slick fiberglass, the rubber floor, the under floor storage and the Dometic fridge. Probably a few other things. It seems too much geared towards camping with fresh water and electric hookups, something that I seldom have. I would expect a small furnace, and would ditch the microwave; probably the TV as well. Maybe these are options. Another thing i would do to add storage is to move the battery to the tongue. Add a slick drop down battery box with a small solar panel to keep it charged. Like someone pointed out, having to use a screw driver to open the LP tank access is poor; find a good push button latch or another way to work it. Don't beat me up about this comment, but for those that think its over priced, I can tell you that you cannot build it for this price, if you had the skills; but more than that, you will take a couple years out of your life building it.

It's a teardrop FFS. Of course you cook outside. Personally, that's what I love about teardrop. And why I prefer Australian trailer designs. What's the point in using a trailer if you're not going to be outdoors to cook and as much as possible? Besides, cooking indoors in any weather in a trailer means moisture and heat in the trailer. Yuck.

Hello, I'm E L M E R --- yea I'm in to it my self it's a great trailer for contract workers . Witch I do from cost to cost. Most f the time most company's will let you stay in their parking lot and you can use their hook ups. And the gray wall paper is very cool looking . Who ever though of it is on the ball.

Chris Parlow if you buy this for contract workers at the price it's listed you sir are nuts....can buy a Atco commercial trailer for half of this and it can sleep 6. Now if it's just for you, you own it then fine.
