Problem 19. The table below lists measurements from 10 normal faults in a small area on the island of Crete. Plot the data on an equal-area net and determine the orientation of the principal stresses. (In reality, 10 faults are not enough to reliably determine the orientation of the stress ellipsoid; ideally, about 40 should be used.) (Problem 10.2, Page 88 of Lab Textbook-Structural Analysis and Synthesis)

Thank you sir...it helped me a lot 😊 but one doubt sir...why you took sigma 1 45° from lineation...why not 30° as per mohr coulomb failure criteria
