1. When to use ML ML is used to identify complex patterns on existing data to make predictions on unseen data. ( Needs to be complex else we can use if else statement, make predictions like weather, identify the object on an image etc)

2. ML in research vs in production - One team might focus on highest accuracy vs quickest time. Optimise for lower latency vs higher throughput.
