Omg... finally i found an authentic chippi recipe. So happy to have stumbled on to your channel. I am a 5th generation ceylonese living in singapore. I missed out in learning alot of recipes from my late grandmother. My grandmother's sisters are in malaysia. But due to covid i cant go over to learn recipes from them. And time is running out as many are very old. Thank you for giving me a chance to learn authentic recipes from sri lanka. Thank you for your channel. As people like me who has lived out of srilanka all my life (infact havent been to the ancestral land of jaffna even though i have been to sri lanka) we get assimilate with mainstream tamil society we tend to lose the uniqueness of sri lankan tamil cuisine, language and culture. My wife is indian and as much as possible I try to share our unique culture with her. You are doing an excellent job in sharing it to people like me who are scrambling to find such recipes.
