Still up in the air if I am going to buy this rack for my son's 2018 OB. The extra holes are a concern for leakage. What was the overall time on the install? Also, I cannot find a single video that shows the headache of reinstalling the headliner with trim.

Hey Jason, I have had m subaru in the rain and snow a lot in the last few months since installing the rack and no leaks whatsoever. And the reinstall was not that bad. I believe I could have done it all in 6 hours without filming.

Nice video but did you make a mistake all your links to the fasteners, bolts and washers are all “zinc” they all gonna rust!

They are just generic aluminum extrusions. I wonder how long the anodizing will last. They get scratched easily too.

I have no idea about that. But as you could probably see in my video i had to remove the stock rack to get this one on.
