Thank you for a great tutorial on how to use affinity + print & cut in lightburn. If anyone else is having problems with lightburn (1.3.01) importing a smaller size svg, try using 96dpi setting when exporting from affinity. Took me a few minutes to figure out why this was happening with 72dpi, changing to 96dpi solved it for me.

I figured print and cut with sublimation out last year...but alas when I had to do it again I couldn't for the life of me figure it out..but I found your video. I also use Affinity 2 for my sublimation and your video was a lifesaver. Thank you so much for what you do.

How do you get a perfect trace in lightburn ? Also which files are best like pdf, dxf, svg, is there a file that has the perfect line work on which you don’t have to trace?
@computercreationz Жыл бұрын
Having a good black and white graphic to start with is key. Mutes colors that are turned into shades of grey don’t trace well. Svg is a vector no tracing needed

Did u use air compressor while cutting? I thought ur not supposed to use external air when cutting acrylic? Please correct me if im wrong. Im still very new!

yes that is not acrylic it Unisub hardboard that has mdf in it so that need full air assist on. but your right acrylic takes little air to cut or you get ghoasting
