Yes pretty much any paper you want will work. Avoid any of the cricut print the cut papers should not be used. They are too thick and break printers. I like Starcraft products, neato and Avery

No. Laminate is nothing like transfer tape. Laminate is meant to stay on the printable to protect it from water, and UV light. This is a heat transfer mask which is completely different. You need to be sure you have ordered the correct item to use with the printable HTV. The product in this video is printable vinyl used like stickers. You need to be sure your design is solid so it will cut any transparent areas. If you have them it’s best to flatten it to a shape

I am new to cricut, when doing print then cut with text, do you always need to fill in the holes in the word, like u did with the mini circles? I understand why u did it, so it would not cut in those tiny spots. I thought that once u flatten it, that would prevent that, again I’m a newbie. I just got my cricut explore air 2 and I’m a little confused. So what happens to the decal if you stick it on a mug or glass... does it not come off? I keep seeing videos of people making Disney designs...etc by applying several colours starting with a black design background/contour. Vinyl and printable vinyl are two different things. Starcraft brand which i used here can go on cups and windows but a lot cannot as its not waterproof. The layered vinyl decals are typically done with permanent vinyl which is waterproof. The difference is really what you want to do and how you want it to look

You can use any inkjet printer.
