PIXMA MG3050 MG3040 MG3020 E474 series Wifi Setup (part3)

This video is full setup tutorial for Canon PIXMA MG3000 series.I am using iPhone and Canon PRINT App to setup the printer. It is also possible to setup the printer to wireless using USB cable and software instalation on the PC.
I have posted 4 videos on Pixma MG3000 series - unboxing, ink setup and test print, wireless setup and newtwork/direct switch mode.

Great video and so helpful thank you. I used Canon's own help desk who could not get even near to solving how I could connect the 3060 to my router. They kept asking me to use the add printer function on my Mac and couldn't understand what I could, if my router couldn't see the printer then neither could my Mac. I bought the printer yesterday so getting it set up today is a bonus based on other comments I've seen here.

The best way to set up a Canon MG 3000 printer is to buy a Brother Printer and run the Brother utility, then you pick up the Canon printer and use as a door stop. It worked for me!

it means, if you get some flashes you can count, and then there is break between flashes. So you can count how many flashes you have. Or it just flashes continuously?

+Gameboii98 put the installation disc in your PC and follow instructions, you can configure printer to wifi network with PC installation. There will be a step where you need to decide the connection type, usb or wifi, you can use both

This usually happens if your wifi password to your router or access point is changed or was incorrectly entered when setting it up from your tablet/phone. Even if the key is wrong, it will say settings were sent to the printer. I had this issue and realized the wifi key I was using was incorrect. After I used the correct one, the printer then appeared on my phone.

How I do a factory Reset for this piece of sh*t? Thank you for your videos, They helped me a lot, I did maintenance on my router and now the f*ck+ng printer does not let me re-add, I think I should restart it from the factory. PD. I think the manual for this printer is the worst that canon did.

The password during WiFi setup is your local WiFi password, if you need to access pritner admin settings, then try the serial number of your printer.
