Fun fact: at school one time we were messing with microscopes and me and my friends decided to put a printed piece of paper with only black tekst on it. When we looked at the black tekst under the microscope we found that it was actually not just black but also cyan, yellow and magenta, which we couldn’t see normally

With traditional art where you use physical paints and canvases, black would be all the colors mixed together as paint reflects color by absorbing parts of the light spectrum while with digital art, white would be all the colors mixed together as each color is basically code for mixtures of red, blue, and green and white is all these colors on near or complete full blast. I hope this was mildly interesting to hear.

The reason you find a bunch of Cyan and other colors mixed in is because the printer companies do that on purpose to force you to buy colored ink. They put minute amounts of cyan in to the point where it's not noticable by the human eye, so even if you only print in black and white it will use colored ink, and the printer won't allow you to print if you have no colored ink. That was the whole joke of the video.

I really love the expressions you give them, they almost hit more than the jokes themselves. The dynamic Mike and Zach have is hilarious. The best way to describe it is that Zach can be 75% brains, 25% fun stupidity, while mike is 25% brains, 75% fun stupidity. I really like the characters reacting more realistically to the situation. Less like "look at me, I'm a cartoon character!", and more like an actual person would react in such a wacky situation. It's more believable. I like it! :) On the subject of printers - I once spent a year and a half using a broken printer that couldn't print black (I had to print all my documents in purple or blue, and always color-shift images if I needed to print an edited pencil sketch scan to keep drawing on it), all while looking for a printer with ink that wasn't a total rip off. Turns out those still exist - Epson Eco-tank ET2650. *Doesn't use ink cardridges,* you just refill straight from the bottle. Printer cost me 300 € upfront, but the bottles are super-cheap. Less than 30 € for all colors + black. But that's not the good part. I bought this printer in mid 2017, have been using it as usual... and have only needed to refill ink, like two or three times. *Yes, a SINGLE ink filling lasts 1 - 2 YEARS.* And each single bottle is just 9,99 € or even less if you buy the 4 pack together. Yeah I thought they were bullshitting me when the description said some ridiculous number of pages per ink bottle, but it's actually FAR MORE than that. I guess they might have _toned it down_ so it sounds more believable. Every printer that uses ink cartridges is a scam. (well otherwise it's still a printer, it still has all the same problems any other printer has [e.g. dried ink clogging up a color and needing to run the "cleaning" program, also the default settings for the scanner are bad for pencil sketches but you can fix that], but it's not a total rip off.) This video should totally have been sponsored by Epson eco tank printers, it would've made sense... well ok it probably would've made any claims of its capability also seem less trustworthy. But I do hope Epson keeps making those Eco tank printers so next time I need a new printer I still can get one that isn't basically EA loot box irl.

Eh that sounds a little financially non-exploitative, don't think the shareholders will be too happy with that design. How about a printer that sucks out the user's blood at regular intervals and then sells it via delivery drone? Could be used for overpriced medical treatments, research, sale to vampire roleplayers, staging fake crime scenes at competing printer corporation offices, etc. The user could be incentivized with 50c store credit after each transfusion totalling at least five pints of blood. I think it'd be a hit with the board!
