I’m not sure if the merger will improve the current unresolved issues. Here are my concerns: 1. High Base Cost: The base cost is high, combined with order taxes, making it difficult for sellers to compete and sell effectively. Meanwhile, many other platforms offer lower base costs, no taxes, and comparable quality to Printful. 2. Mockup Issues: This is a significant challenge I face when creating mockups for my store, and I believe many other sellers share the same concern. Both Printful and Printify are large companies, but the mockups they provide are neither visually appealing nor professional. Suggestions: Invest in and develop high-quality, professional mockups for products. For example, for a T-shirt, include multiple models, various angles, different size formats, and file formats such as WebP, PNG, and JPEG. Organize mockups into groups based on a specific model to make them easier to use. Consider creating a standalone mockup tool that is intuitive and saves time. If both companies could improve and continuously update their mockups, I would be willing to purchase and use them. I also believe many sellers would be willing to pay for this feature.

I hope the Printful-Printify merger brings Printful's quality control to Printify. Equally important, though, is improving Printful's design tool-it would be better if it was equal to what Printify has. Also, mockups could be improved for both companies, as neither currently offers great options. Better tools and mockups would benefit everyone.

I'm concerned. If my Printful orders are going to be fulfilled by some Printify partner, then the quality control could be ruinous. I chose Printful because QC is always decent, in the A to C+ range reliably (except for embroidery, which is almost always bad). Each Printify partner is a different business with wildly different QC and some of them are terrible. I actually went with Printify initially before I got the samples and saw how bad they were. The main thing I liked about Printify was the ability to design dark and light shirts (with different designs) in the same product template. But the printing itself was a solid F. I'd like to know that my orders will not be fulfilled by random print shops.

I am happy to have access to more products. As someone else stated before the QC here lately has been horrible. The samples that i received i didn't know how they actually made it out of the factory they were so bad. It had me rethinking my POD company I actually thought about quitting!

Printful bulk ordering is far superior to printify. I hope that is integrated into the system. Printify designing is easier and more intuitive. Printful quality control and production time is a step above. Hopefully we’ll get the best of both worlds.

I was planning on starting a new shop using Printful instead of Printify because of the high design quality. I'm concerned that 1) the quality won't be as good and 2) I don't want to make templates now and have to remake them again after the merger. Will the templates stay the same and will you ensure a quality improvement with Printify in the merger?

Just like Printful fulfills products across multipule locations, Printify partners with providers from multiple regions around the world, not just the US. You can choose products and providers based on your prefernces. Just like our product offering is available for worldwide shipping, many Printify providers offer worldwide shipping, so you can have access to tees from both US-based and international providers.

I’m struggling to understand the reasoning behind this. If the two companies are merging, wouldn’t it make more sense to consolidate their operations into a unified brand? By keeping both companies active as separate entities, especially when they’re in direct competition, it seems counterintuitive. How will this structure work in practice? I've been selling on Etsy with Printful since 2018 and I've been wanting to switch to Printify for their bigger product catalog but I just can't do it because it's going to be so time-consuming migrating 1000+ products I have listed. 🎉 I'm very excited about this! I'm wondering if all the men's T-shirts, hoodies, etc., mockups modeled by people who can't model are going away too at this point... Like 85% of those mockups I can't even use for my brand. I am NOT criticizing at all. I actually love you guys and think you're the BEST POD service out there. However, I feel like this ultra-generic, random-people mockups issue must be addressed soon. ❤

Honestly it was a toss up between both when I decided to switch from Threadless, and Printful seemed easier and more consistent. Oh and didn’t have high international shipping costs. So this will probably be a win-win
