Can we get a few more options for all-over printed stitch colors? This is a common complaint from customers and makes the all-over print design process more challenging because white and black thread sticks out in a bad way with a lot of designs

Is 150 dpi really adequate or should we be shooting for 300 dpi for our print files?
@PrintfulCustomPrinting5 жыл бұрын
Hi there, 150 DPI is the minimal requirement that we recommend for print files. You can make the DPI higher, but there's no visible difference between a 150 DPI print and one that has a higher resolution, especially on sublimated items. The only difference is in the slow processing speed of a larger file. :)

Are there any videos or tutorials on printing for posters that show you about the safe printing area? If the print does not fit perfectly in the safe printing area, but has some small border at the top and bottom but sides are ok using Horizontal for say an 8x10 frame will there be a border on the print? its very hard to get clear answers on this.

Hey! We have a video right here on how we print our posters - kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqG1hKOmdtyLatE. It might help a bit! It's important to keep all important graphics or text within the safe print area to avoid missing design elements on the finished product, and borders in general aren't recommended.

hi!!!I have a question about the "Print area background color" with all-over printing. Does that mean that if I have a white logo design and choose blue background color, that you will start with a blue t-shirt and print the white logo on top or will you start with a white t-shirt and print both blue and white?
@PrintfulCustomPrinting4 жыл бұрын
Hi there! Our All-over print t-shirts are individually printed, cut and sewn. The material just like any of our cut & sew products is printed to the color you've set. So in your case, the background areas of your t-shirt will be printed in blue and your logo - white.
@lanvinguyen74953 жыл бұрын
@@PrintfulCustomPrinting Still not sure I understand what this option means. The color we select for PRINT AREA BACKGROUND COLOR is the color our design is printed on top of? what if we have a pattern (a repeated element ) with a background ? i tried to duplicate it ,. it looks fine in the mockup generator but im not sure if it will be printed like there's some kind of squares not a merged pattern .

Mockup Generator reflects the expected result of the pattern pretty realistically. It's possible to get the "square effect" that you're referring to, however, it would be visible on the Mockup Generator already during the design process.

@@PrintfulCustomPrinting so the solution is to upload a big size pattern so it fit the whole mockup and avoid the square effect from uploading small pattern .

Hi I’m having problem that dpi adjustment can only be done with few preset values on a slider to adjust size of pattern. Different sections of shirt would be different sizes until you use duplicate button to set other sections to value not on slider. My problem is I want same size pattern on shirts on joggers but I’m unable to get same dpi so patterns can be same size.
@DebyColes5 жыл бұрын
I have this same problem. when I set the same dpi across different products and view the mockups side by side, the design is completely different scale on one product than the other.

Why are we being shown these wrap-around designs if they aren't going to work? Why can't it be guaranteed when the design shows correctly on the mockups? Isn't this the reason for using mockup/additional views? I'm still new to all of this and these type of things make it very difficult to create a consistent/satisfactory product.
@PrintfulCustomPrinting5 жыл бұрын
Hey Reen, our mockups display the products as close to the actual product as possible but other factors need to be taken into account too. For example, the mockup generator displays the "M" size clothing but if a different size will be ordered then the design may look a bit different as each size varies a bit by the amount of fabric used and other parameters. Also, small discrepancies are allowed because all-over print items are done by hand. We recommend placing the most important details within the safe print area. :)

I want to imagine myself taking all of the actions you are describing but before I could picture one action you were on to talking about something else, mostly things that didn't apply to me. I'd love to create a fun Ugly Christmas Sweatshirt but will have to keep pausing your video in order to work through the process. Do I want to spend a lot of time doing this or should I just create my own image file and upload it to the front and back of the sweater? I think I know which option I'll choose.
