Getting Started with Printful and Squarespace 2024

You forgot to mention the additional VAT that Printful will charge you for the product and shipping combined, in some parts of the world is a high as 27% of the total cost of the shipping and product combination, I wish Printful would have that factored in on the page where you add the revinue for the items on your store, I've been caught out a good few times with that.

FYI, just wanted to let you know that when you upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1 - and try to reconnect the Printful store, Printful keeps adding a new store instead of re-connecting. I've talked with Squarespace and Printful today. 2/19/24. Waiting for a solution.

This was helpful! Thank you.But how do you set up the flat rate shipping in Squarespace if I want to sell different types of products that have different individual shipping costs? For example, Printful shipping cost is different for t-shirts vs hoodies vs mugs etc

I have been through this process and so far the only "hack" I found for different products is to use different made up random "weights" in Squarespace, as a way of "indexing" different products to set up different prices...and it's a lengthy manual process especially if you ship worldwide like I do. Using flat rate doesn't really work for different products if you sell for example both greetings cards and hoodies. Hopefully Squarespace comes up with a different shipping strategy in the future because the shipping part is not very efficient right now.

@@Martina_BCJdesign Thanks so much for sharing! And I agree, I was surprised since they have the integration and that set up was so easy that the shipping part could be so challenging. When I reached out to Squarespace they mentioned using weight as a work around which I’m thinking of trying but can’t imagine how messy it would be when a customer adds multiples different items to purchase…have you come across that? It must be even more complex for international orders, which I haven’t even decided if I should yet.

You should add godaddy to printful
