I'm getting lino, ink and paper from Handprinted and am increasingly coming here for tips and refreshers. Six months into regular classes I constantly need to be reminded of the basics while pushing my own boundaries. Today I'm looking at adding three pieces of crafted colour paper to each of an ancient beech tree, the paddock below and a horse. It can be a fiddly job so I use spray glue (properly masked up) and tweezers.

Wow, this is amazing. I had no idea you could do this with linocut. Thank you so much for sharing!

Could you have used Christmas gift wrap paper?

Thank you so much this was great to watch. Any ideas where I could source natural muted tined origami or tissue papers ? It all seems so bright and loud I was looking to do a more natural world subtle project? Thanks so much

You could try with khadi paper: handprinted.co.uk/collections/paper/products/khadi-paper

I’ve not heard of Nori paste before - why do you choose it please, over, say - dilute PVA? Thanks
@Handprinteduk3 жыл бұрын
Nori is archival, so perfect for printmaking. PVA dries shiny too, so isn't ideal for this.

I was thinking the same, but reading a comment below, I am wondering if a matte gel medium could be used instead of the Nori paste? My mixed media brain starts buzzing with ideas!
