This home is more than just a residence; It is a refuge for those seeking peace, comfort, and connection with nature.
This house stands out amidst the natural landscape, its facade in a soft white tone, discreetly contrasting with the surroundings. The wooden roof and deck add a touch of rusticity, subtly contrasting with the modernity of the main structure, while the swimming pool adapted from a shipping container adds a dose of innovation to the scene.
The gourmet area, with its barbecue and table under the pergola, is the ideal place to enjoy meals al fresco, whilst admiring the panoramic views. The large balcony offers space to gather friends and family, sharing stories and laughter as the sun sets over the horizon. And we can't forget the rocking chairs, an invitation for moments of contemplation or immersion in reading a good book.
At the entrance to the house, the large glass sliding doors not only invite visitors to enter but also flood the space with natural light, creating a feeling of luminosity and expansion. These doors, along with the glass door at the back of the house, not only facilitate natural lighting but also allow fresh air to circulate, creating an airy and revitalizing atmosphere.
Upon entering, we are welcomed by an integrated space that combines a large and complete kitchen, a cozy living room, an office bench, a dining room with a drinks area, and a storage buffet. This integration and well-planned functionality optimize the available space, providing a perfect environment for welcoming friends and family.
The fluidity between these spaces creates a feeling of connection and conviviality, where each activity can be carried out without interruptions. It's the ideal place to cook while chatting with guests in the living room or to enjoy a family meal while enjoying the view of the back of the house through the large glass door.
This integrated space is more than just a functional area; It is the heart of the home, where precious moments are shared and memories are created.
The rooms in this house were designed to offer comfort, functionality, and unique style. Each of the three bedrooms features a good amount of closet space, ensuring that residents have ample space to store their clothes and personal belongings, keeping the environment organized and clutter-free. Double beds provide a comfortable rest after a long day, while the unique design of each room offers an individualized experience for its occupants.
In the first bedroom, in addition to the closet space and double bed, there is also a dressing table, adding a touch of elegance and practicality to the environment. This additional space allows room occupants to have a dedicated place to get ready and take care of their beauty.
This house has two bathrooms, the first is a private bathroom, connected to one of the bedrooms, offering an intimate and exclusive atmosphere. That was freaking awesome!!! You showed up in my KZbin feed, I guess because I had been searching for shipping containers or old railroad cars to consider doing something like this. Your video definitely showed this is more than just possible, but is something that can be spectacular. I guess the real question would come down to total cost, but I would have to believe this would be more economical to construct than building a new home entirely from the ground up? We live in the Amarillo, Texas area, so the cost of living is fairly reasonable in general, but am definitely interested in acquiring a few acres outside of town and creating a place like this to retire in. Love the video.

Um belo trabalho, como sempre. Adoro a proposta da casa, o design, o pormenor que colocam no design de interiores, sendo um dos seus pontos fortes. No entanto, neste caso, a abordagem à casa pareceu-me um pouco estranha, pois a piscina e o terraço parecem mais as traseiras da casa, uma vez que as janelas dos quartos, que fazem parte da área privada de qualquer casa, têm vista para ela. Sinto que faltava uma entrada principal do outro lado que fosse a entrada principal. Não digo que a sua casa é má, estou apenas a explicar a sensação que me deu. Por outro lado, gostei do facto de ser um pouco mais alta do que o nível do chão. Embora essas grelhas de madeira não sejam muito eficazes para impedir a entrada de roedores por baixo da casa.
